"Okay business hotel. Rooms are small and odd desig"
Staff was nice but was minimal interaction. Carry you on bags, etc. the hotel got the job done and was close to all my business functions but I would not list it as anything real special.
Excellent breakfast was included.

Travelers need to be aware that the hotel is in the central part of the city. We stayed there on a Thursday night and couldn't get much sleep due to people being loud outside. So I can't even imagine how it would be on a friday or saturday. I understand that its not really hotels fault however maybe the staff could pay a bit more attention to whats happening outside the hotel.

Very Efficient and Pleasant staff.
Restaurant menus and wine list look deceivingly short and maybe even boring, but it taste great and if you ask the waiter he can pool out some really delicious extras and wonderful wines.

I was very happy overall. The room was extremely clean, the shower worked very well, there were the basic bathroom amenities you'd expect -- body wash, shampoo, etc. The bed was large and comfortable.
The things I didn't like were minor. The rooms are extremely spartan -- no iron, no real furniture apart from a table, a stool, a chair, a clothes rack and that's all. They don't provide room safes/safety boxes or unsecured storage of any kind. Breakfast is very pricey for a budget place, costing 89 DKK per round. Also, no laundry service.
My biggest problem was the lack of decent lighting in my room. There were three small directed lights in my room, the third of which I could not figure out how to turn on, and I have it on the very best of authority that I'm a reasonably intelligent guy. So, that left two small, underpowered directed lights to see me through the early parts of the night. Not intolerable by any means, but mildly irritating.

A good base whilst working in Aarhus. Outside of the city but in a very nice location on the shore and backed by a forest. Aarhus city can be seen from the hotel along the coast.
Rooms are simple but nicely furnished in the traditional Danish style. The en-suites are tired and could do with a re-fit. The hotel corridors are a little tatty.
Good connections to the city.
Very friendly and efficient staff. The food in the restaurant is excellent and traditional Danish cooking.

Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast and stylishly designed interiors with mid-century styling. Rooms comfortable if slightly small (standard double). Good for a short stay and very well located for the city centre and all places of interest.

Masters of the ancient seas, the Vikings settled in Aarhus in the 8th century, and their influence has been everlasting in what is now Denmark's second largest city. On its coast is the nation's busiest seaport, providing a vital link to global commerce. Other Central District landmarks include the Aarhus Cathedral, the ARoS art museum, and the historic structures of Den Gamle By (The Old Town).
