Our room was on the first floor looking out over the harbor and the opera house. The interior was comfortable, with a nice firm mattress on the bed, a small sitting area, and his and hers closet space. We had a small window we could open and a blackout curtain that kept the room completely dark at night. There was a large supporting beam angled across part of the walking space at the foot of the bed. We rigged up a clothes hanger and hung a coat there to warn us against running into it in the middle of the night. The bedroom and bathroom are clean and comfortable. Despite the thick walls between rooms the ceilings must not be quite as thick because we could hear our neighbors at certain times of day, like at morning wake up. It was more remarkable than annoying, because with meter-thick walls I was expecting soundproof rooms. Breakfast is served in a large room on the ground floor with views out to the harbor. Hot choices include eggs, bacon and sausage, and cold choices include everything else - herring, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, breads, rolls, pastries, cereal, juice...there are plenty of options.

This is a nice hotel close to the sea and a great hotel for a quiet getaway weekend. The single room I had was a reasonable size and price with a small balcony and nice sea view. The rooms are nicely decorated with all the usual hotel facilities. Free Wi-Fi that works well. There are only limited channels on the TV and no room service. Its quite a way out of town so you will need a bike or a car if you want t get into Arhus town centre but it is nicely placed to get in and out of town easily.

Older hotel in a decent state of repair - staff were the major asset from my perspective. Ultra helpful from the second I entered & this level of customer service remained constant for the duration of my brief stay.

I was very happy overall. The room was extremely clean, the shower worked very well, there were the basic bathroom amenities you'd expect -- body wash, shampoo, etc. The bed was large and comfortable.
The things I didn't like were minor. The rooms are extremely spartan -- no iron, no real furniture apart from a table, a stool, a chair, a clothes rack and that's all. They don't provide room safes/safety boxes or unsecured storage of any kind. Breakfast is very pricey for a budget place, costing 89 DKK per round. Also, no laundry service.
My biggest problem was the lack of decent lighting in my room. There were three small directed lights in my room, the third of which I could not figure out how to turn on, and I have it on the very best of authority that I'm a reasonably intelligent guy. So, that left two small, underpowered directed lights to see me through the early parts of the night. Not intolerable by any means, but mildly irritating.

Convenient for an early-evening arrival from Billund airport, and easily found. Easy parking - important as one of us has walking difficulties. Reception was welcoming and efficient. Advance booking worked well and gave a bargain room price. Three deer were grazing in the early evening light at the edge of the hotel grounds, illustrating the hotel's countryside location. Other guests included some small children with their families, business people and golfers. I would have like to use the advertised sauna but it was not mentioned in the hotel information or on signage.

We stayed in one of their economy rooms, but did not feel like we were missing anything other than space, since the room was small. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom fixtures all worked well. The staff was amazing in their friendliness, and they were happy to meet all our requests. The housekeeping staff is a little lacking, but simple requests at the front desk made up for it. Even with paying for on-site parking each night, the daily fee was around $135. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The Lego hotel is very convenient for the lego park. On cold days ideal to pop back to your room to warm up. The room was spacious and had mostly what we needed. Slight downside was that it was 2 double beds, so our daughter ended up sleeping on the floor, as it as not appropriate for her to share with her brother. Also the pillows are small and very hard. They do advertise alternative pillows, but I realised too late to get one! (Was already in bed). The room has a kettle and fridge, so perfect for making drinks. The staff were friendly and helpful. Slight miscommunication about drinks when we asked for some more breakfast tea, and ended up with a range of teas, except breakfast tea (mostly early grey) being brought to the room, but this really wasn't a major issue. The breakfast was superb. A wide range of Danish food, both filling and delicious.
