"This Motel location is a hidden Gem!"
This Motel is perfectly located right near the highway into Montreal. The family that run the hotel are super friendly and efficient. The rooms are very comfortable considering the cost of the rooms. Right next to the Motel is "Smoked Meat Pete" the Montreal winner for best smoked meat & french fries. You can pick up the take out special for $20. This gives you a pound of hot sliced smoke meat, a loaf of rye bread, coleslaw & lots of big pickles in brine. My NYE was made even better because I stayed in this hotel. Also, let me tell you that I only heard laughter & merriment coming from all the other rooms when I walked over & came back with my take out smoke meat. Woke up feeling super well rested and started my New Year with a big smile on my face & lots of money still left in my pocket.

"Fantastic B&B for arriving or leaving Montreal."
If you are going to or leaving Montreal and want to avoid the traffic, I highly recommend staying at this B&B. It is very close to Highway 20 just west of Montreal. The hosts are bilingual, the house and rooms are very nice, and the breakfast is superb. We were at a conference downtown and decided to get a head start on our drive back to Toronto by getting out of the city in the evening rather than staying another night at the expensive conference hotel. It was a very wise decision as we were able to enjoy the evening and morning at our leisure and get on the highway while avoiding the headache of Montreal city traffic. There is no place to have dinner nearby so the host recommended we stop at Don Quichotte and Grand Boulevard where there are a number of restaurants. We ate at Zento and I would NOT recommend this. It was crowded, noisy, the food was mediocre and the service was terrible. Perhaps it was just a bad day but next time I would choose another restaurant in the same area.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
