I loved Ruby Foo’s. They were very helpful and hospitable! The rooms were nice and large (originally built in 1962 when you got lots of space). Everything was refurbished to be highly polished and elegant. The pool was very nice, as were the large event rooms, which were spacious. There was an all season ice-skating rink! I especially loved the on-site parking. The location is very accessible off of Decairie. This would be a wonderful place to hold a wedding weekend, because everyone can comfortably park, hang out at the pool, and the location is spacious and elegant. Also I loved the nice robes and the cozy beds. This was the kind of hotel you could come to, spread out, and relax. There is plenty of Uber Eats very close by so you can lay in bed and just enjoy. I would definitely return!!!

Overall, for a very picky hotel person as myself this is an overall clean, very convenient place to stay. The pool area was very clean and the all yearlong skating was an added bonus. The gym is large and spa available. Close to metro and a lot of food places and Walmart! Free parking. Perfect for tourists! The front staff were lovely! What my overall problem was is with the cleaning staff. We were a family of three. We had limited towels every day. One day our beds were half made and no towels left for us. NONE! I went to the hallway to get some from the cleaning staff and met a women working with a nice suit and clipboard. I told her the cleaners forgot to give us towels and she didn’t even look up at me and respond. Yes she spoke English bc we heard her talk in the elevator earlier. She got the cleaning lady and told her she was taking towels from the cart to give me. I told her I need a minimum of three towels as there were three of us who needed to shower them and in the morning. The cleaning lady kept yelling at the clipboard lady telling her to only give us two. “Two! Two!” She was saying. I had to speak up and say “no! We are three people and we need at least three towels!” Not sure why we were being harassed over needing a towel to shower in a hotel room we paid for??? I felt very uncomfortable. Ended up having to hide any hand towels we used for our hair so that we could at least have a couple extra on hand when needed. Poor service by hospitality.

We booked a king size bed but the room given to us had a double size bed instead of king size. After talking to the manger they changed it for us. The room is quite old and smells bad. I do not recommend if you are sensitive to bad smell.

Very good location for our needs (basketball tournaments at schools about a 10 minute drive away). Easy access to the city’s main North-South artery (Décarie blvd). Very, Very good Indian Vegetarian restaurant is a five minute walk away. Comfortable enough for me and my two young adult sons. No restaurant on site in the hotel. A little shabby - but expected with the price.
