I have stayed in this property previously and never had a problem!! The front desk staff was always cordial and most helpful.. this experience was horrible..Ms.Willemina had no time for my self nor my husband!! Very rude and nasty after i told her that i needed a change of room,but in truth the first impression of her was cold and nasty which was NEVER the case at Ruby Foos...this young woman was MOST unprofessional!

My (full-price) room had a large hole and stain on the wall, and 2 other holes that had been plastered, but not repainted. Paint peeling on door frame. The kitchenette was a small microwave perched on top of a small fridge. TV screen was a smaller than my computer screen at home. Shampoo dispenser was gone (taken) entirely. It all looked shabby. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and I know they have some nice rooms, but not this time.

Perfect location for a stay in the city, especially if you need to park your car. Super weird vibe from the staff. The lady who was checking me in said three words to me and didn't make a single eye contact looking consumed with what she had going on on her computer screen. The hotel is great though. I would highly recommend.

If you’re looking at a place to just sleep at for a cheap price then this hotel is the right fit for you. The area is perfect, everywhere is walkable & I loved how the subway station was a 5 minute walk. However in terms of the actual hotel, their customer service was okay. They didn’t have a lot of amenities, and it just felt like a motel to be honest. We made it pretty clear we wanted our room clean but they didn’t do it till we told them multiple times. I also didn’t like how there was alot of police outside the hotel every morning. If you’re looking for an experience I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. But like I said, if you’re looking for somewhere to just lay your head for a cheaper rate. Pick this hotel!
