Casa Nithra Bangkok

"A good, but overpriced hotel in the heart of ... "
Banglampu. I lived in this area for 4 years, so upon my return to BKK I wanted to stay locally and enjoy the sites and sounds of the area. Casa Nithra is relatively new and the facilities are good for a hotel of this size. It's location puts it not far from the key temples and khao san road. My only complaint is the price. For the level of comfort and location, the nearly 100 USD per night was WAY too much. There was no gym either for those looking for a bit of a workout. I feel the price should be about 1/2 what they're charging for what the hotel is. Nonetheless, there seemed to be plenty of foreigners streaming in, just note that there are many.. and I mean MANY comfortable, small hotels and guest houses within 500 meters of Casa. Maybe book 1 night and then find yourself in one of these other places and save some serious money.

"Excellent hotel with great location"
Tara Place was an excellent hotel for us. For a very reasonable price, it was comfortable, very clean, excellent staff always ready to help, free tuk tuk rides to the Grande Palace and to Kohsan Road. Location was great as it was close to all of the shopping and action on the backpackers streets, but approx. 8 min walk away to also have a quiet sleep. We were two young backpackers who wanted a couple days to relax in a hotel versus the classic hostel and it was the perfect getaway. Beds were very comfortable, lots of restaurants and massage spas within a couple mins walking distance. Nothing negative to say! Would definitely recommend

"Its right in the center of the city "
Its right in the center of the city and also only 10 mins away from khao san, the breakfast is nice but I didnt really eat any other meals there. Even standard room does not have a kettle for hot water which was dissapointing as all Indian hotels I stay at have that feature which was missing. Appears to be an old building as the plug points are all over the place and dont make complete sense for modern day charging needs. Staff is courteous and the clenaliness is fine.

"Lovely hotel close to downtown Bangkok"
We had a marvelous stay at the Royal Princess for a week. The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly, the lounge very comfortable and convenient, we had laundry done almost overnight and the restaurant was excellent with a fantastic included breakfast in our price. The breakfast was well worth having and had everything imaginable. The hotel also had one of the nicest swimming pools we have used in a long time as well as a fitness room. We would absolutely stay at the Royal Princess again and recommend it to our friends as well.

"Khoa San Road but but Quiet"
Area is perfect to be near the Khoa San road area but without the noise and partying of the area. The hotel has a great rooftop pool to hang out in on the hot days. There is also a great Blues Bar just up the street. The downside is no trainline however I did take a bus once and also took the river boatto Chinatown (the pier is a 10 minute walk from the hotel.) Cabs are also very cheap so easy to take depending on your budget. I think by cab back was less than $5 Canadian and was a 25minute ride

"Comfort Hotel"
First time stay at Cacha hotel, Bangkok. I was stay for 4 nights deluxe room corner without breakfast. room was clean so comfort! I really satisfy with houskeeping work. For location I think this hotel at the middle area between BTS ratchathewi and BTS phaya thai. NOT NEAR to BTS. You need 20mins to walk. If you like walking this hotel probably nice for you. If you dont like walking this hotel probably not suitable for you. Fyi, easy to get a taxi there only 40 baht from hotel to Platinum / Pratunam Market. Just sharing! maybe that is my fault, I put "2 guests" in 1 deluxe room while I booking on expedia, when I was arrived hotel, I came with my dad & mom, After finish check in, they call me to pay extra charge 1 person, I need to pay 300 baht/person/night so the total 1.200 baht. staff is impolite. So FYI, please put correctly number of guest to checkin in 1 room, if you not willing they charge extra to u :) NOTE. If you need HAIRDRYER. just press number 0 and they will said "you can come down to front desk to collect the hairdryer" lol (self service?)

Dusit is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Dusit, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Dusit hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
