Stayed at this Hilton for a week in January. The hotel was warm and comfortable with the usual Hilton quality. Everything worked well - the staff were welcoming and very efficient. Check in and out were both smooth and quick. The facilities were reasonable, the spa was spotless, but it was disappointing that there was no steam room. Breakfast was good, but the reservation of certain tables for Hilton Honors Guests was a bit irritating. The coffee at breakfast was very poor. Given that Vienna is a mecca for coffee lovers, it's a pity the Hilton coffee was almost undrinkable. The bedroom temperature was rather difficult to regulate, despite several attempts to use a simple control panel - it just defaulted back to a centrally determined setting. Although the hotel is a little out of town, the transport links are excellent and a very short walk to the nearby bus/train links soon gets you into the city. Ask the staff for the short cuts. I would usually take taxis, but the network in Vienna is so good, it's worth using public transport. It's a good hotel, with fine views of the Danube (if you have a room on that side). The staff were friendly and helpful. If the price was right, I would use it again.
