Very good location and close to station and everything else (shopping, food, etc). Room was comfortable and clean. Staff is courteous as typical japanese service, but was quite unhelpful when i asked about mail delivery service. I was told to go to another building whilst carrying multiple luggages and it was raining heavily too! I'm sure they were busy serving other customer, but they could have helped a bit more seeing the situation that i was in. Overall a good stay and will stay again next time. But maybe with less luggages...

The staff was exceptional at the Kamakura Prince Hotel. When my husband became ill in the restaurant, they were by his side with caring and concern. The overall experience there was pleasant, serene and calming.

Absolutely amazing experience from being greeted outside the door to the rooms with names. The staff is absolutely amazing and accommodating. Dinner was 9 courses of traditional fare and the staff was willing to add some miso in case our kids didnt like the offerings (which they did mostly).
The rooms have true picture windows and in the morning we got a real treat with Mt Fuji in all its glory.
The springs are gender split but in this ryokan they are indoor only. Suggest walking to the outdoor one in the adjacent prince hotel.
