Really enjoyable stay.

Very friendly helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was good with a selection of both western and Asian foods. The terrace bar and ground floor cafe were also good and reasonably priced. There was a coin operated washing machine/dryer on the ground floor for guests which was really handy. A 711 store, cafes and restaurants were close by. Hotel was within walking distance to station, gardens, Metropolitan building, the Golden Gai and other tourist spots. The staff looked after our luggage after check out until we headed to the airport later in the day. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Misleading main photo - a regular room isn’t nearly as nice as it looks. The hotel is located in shinjuku which is great and lively but it was also at the end of a street of casinos and clubs. The location is good if you want to spend time in shinjuku as it was close to all the action. It felt like an outdated Vegas off strip hotel. The standard room we had was average and there were visible spots of tears on the walls. It was clean but definitely dated. I felt misled because the main photos on the hotel listing show one of the suites and I thought all rooms looked like that.
