"Nice Hotel"
Good room huge and bathroom. Hotel and staff very helpful but they struggle due to lack of staff. Food good and all the interior is nice. Does need updating. Room though was cold and was unable to adjust heat. Also so was the hot water both bath, basin and shower it would only get teped and in fact felt cold to touch and wash in.

Lovely hotel interior design in public areas very chic. Location excellent in terms of closeness to city centre but immediate area surrounding hotel a bit run down (although signs of redevelopment going on).

"Could be better"
Our stay overall was value for money but a few areas we had concerns about the stairwells are dim and could cause an issue with H&S. In the bathroom getting in and out of the bath/shower is awkward as you have to get out of the end of the bath which slopes and there is no handrail for mature clients. The sink has a hairline crack and the long full length mirror which is on the end of the wardrobe that has the table against it stops you getting a full length view. Staff pleasant and helpful as our stay was only one night we didn't use any other facilities.

"Nice hotel"
The only challenge was the WiFi which wasn't good. Also there were no coffee mugs and spoons in the room.

"Convenient location "
This was the first time staying at this hotel group. Overall we found the hotel basic and it met our needs. My husband reported the shower drainage problem on the second morning and although it was better it was not completely sorted out and the staff did not follow up with us at the time whether the problem was resolved. When we needed to extend our stay with one more night, we were advised by reception that the hotel was full. However we could monitor on the Internet if there becomes a room available. Within an hour I found a room at the same hotel but at a higher rate than what we were paying. Although it was convenient to stay in the same room, it was not serviced so we paid a higher rate for the room not even freshly prepared (towels, toilet paper, linen etc).

"Fantastic Location Next To The City"
The hotel foyer is bright and cheerful and the check in is quick and efficient. Once onto your hotel room floor the atmosphere changes to being a little dull and dark. The rooms are becoming a little worn with chipped surfaces and poor amounts of power sockets in the room (you need some beside the bed). The room is an excellent size and bright with large windows. The television in the room is tiny for the size of the area it's covering. The view out of the room is great across the city. At times it can be a little noisy with the traffic but it does quieten down through the night. For my taste the bed is a little soft and you tend to roll together. The bathroom has a shower over the bath which works well. Breakfast has an excellent selection and there are items which can be ordered and cooked for you. The dining room has been well furnished in it's time but it also requires an update. The arms of the chairs are worn and stained and I loved the wine cooler installation. It's time for a little investment in the hotel to bring it up to scratch for the future. It's not a bad place to stay by any means just a little worn. The employees are excellent.

Birmingham is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Birmingham, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Birmingham hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
