Disappointing airport accommodation

Friendly staff on reception. The bedroom was clean and very comfortable but the ensuite had a broken door which didnt shut properly, there was only one hand towel and the basin was chipped and marked. We had to request tea bags and milk as there was only enough for one person. Dinner in the restaurant was poor. Eg. 4 small chunks of beef in the steak pie . Very thick and average pizza. The table was not clean. The courtesy van service and driver were excellent.

Excellent One Night Stay

The hotel was just as good as the last time we visited. We had breakfast this time which was excellent. The breakfast staff were helpful and friendly as were the staff in the bar and restaurant, in particular Mike the head waiter who we had met the last time we stayed at the hotel. The mini bus shuttle is prompt and extremely well organised.

Hotel was fine for what we needed room good bed comfortable. If you eating out get a uber to a local pub or restaurant as the food was overpriced and poor quality. Paid £18 for a pukka pia and mash and it was just edible .just warmed up convenience food save you money get an uber out .

Great stay

We arrived in middle of the nite after our flight home staff were very friendly and helpful pick up from airport and taken to hotel. Next day after breakfast we were take to train station where we continued out journey home

Great hotel next door to airport. Restaurant and breakfast outstanding. Staff helpful and knowledgeable and engaging. Room very clean quiet and well equipped. Would of been nice to have a fridge in the room as it was august and hot. Very good stay and will use them again in the future

Pre-flight stay.

Routine airport hotel stay, nice food in the evening and also at breakfast. The only bugbear was we forgot remove our toothbrushes and toothpaste from our luggage when we did twilight check-in, I checked the hotel listing on Hotels.com and saw that they listed these items under amenities so I went to reception only to be told they only available to purchase at the shop. The price for these items was of course ridiculous so I walked to T1 and got them for pennies at spar.

The staff were lovely and service very good both at reception and restaurants. The rooms however were uncomfortable, very very hot with no ac. So hot is we had very little sleep. Although service was great we probably wouldn’t stay again due to the rooms.
