The staff at the Castille were fantastic. Very friendly on check in and helpful through the stay. They have a nice seating area in the lobby and the staff, noticing that my mother was quite tired from our journey, brought her fresh/cold water and told us not to rush during check in. There's a friendly cat that hangs around the lobby. Nice touch but make sure you bring antihistamines if you are allergic. It was impossible not to pet her.
One issue they had was the bathroom sink. I noticed it was leaking considerably. It would be impossible to miss (I had to throw a towel down after washing my hands)... So either the cleaning staff weren't cleaning the sink? Or the previous occupants of the room somehow didn't notice? Anyway, I called the front counter and a maintenance person arrived within five minutes and fixed it right away. Good service.
I stayed only one night but thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was impeccably clean and well appointed. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was good but a bit expensive. I also found the hotel staff were a bit hesitant to suggest good restaurants in the area for breakfast instead saying we should stay at the hotel to eat the buffet which was very expensive.

Paris is our favorite place in the world. I know that some people complain about the rudeness of the French, but, frankly, we never met those people. The ones we met were kind and helpful. We try to go a couple of times a year....at least.
We enjoy the people but most of all the food.....and the wine! Viva La the wine. Doesn't get much better. We've done the museums so we don't have to include them any more. Likewise the hot spots with naked women and much dancing, not that we're apposed to naked women.
One recent trip we took a bus tour around the city. It had been years since we did that and we found this tour very useful. It showed some places we had forgotten about. We do recommend this informative and relatively inexpensive way to get your bearings on visiting a new or different city.
There are so many places to eat with great food; can't get a really bad meal in Paris and the hotel can recommend plenty to choose from.
Paris is particularly charming at Christmas time. There are so many decorations. The streets are teeming with happy shoppers, Christmas trees, and wonderful decorations. Try the Christmas markets for a truly wonderful experience.
Take the children; they will be charmed by the decorative, festive atmosphere everywhere.

Clean room with friendly staff. We had dinner at Boyd's and it was delicious.
We would definitely stay here again. This was our second stay.
You can get great coffee at the Pret a Manger at the end of the street next to the Tesco.

As we were catching the Heathrow Connect we wanted something close to Paddington Station. When we were trying to find a place to stay ... Hilton London Paddington, just happened to have a sale. We booked it and were very pleased with the discounted price. The location of the Hilton London Paddington is just around the corner from Paddington Station. Once you get out of the station it is a five minute walk.

Hotel was very clean and hotel staff was pleasant. The hotel was close to the Metro and within walking distance to several sites in the area. I was very pleased with my stay and would recommend this hotel.

Fantastic location 2 blocks from Roma Termini central train station. Upgraded, clean rooms. Big queen bed, very comfortable. Beautiful shower, and bathtub (a rarity in hotel). Amazing breakfast, huge buffet with mutliple European and North American classics. Amazing coffee (each table has a huge pot with a pot of steamed milk). The only downfall is no pool and no gym, things that I expect in North America. Uncommon in Europe though. We walked so much every day, I was able to look beyond the lack of gym. Lots of amazing things to do around the hotel. Would stay again (and I am VERY) picky with hotels. My favourite chain of hotels is the Fairmont Hotels, which this really reminded me of.

This hotel is in the university area of the city. A buzzing environment but not so much as to be a nuisance. We're a family with teenagers so this suited us well, especially as the prices in the local restaurants were really reasonable. Staff at he hotel were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and the room was cleaned every day to a very good standard.
Situated a 15/20 minute walk from the termini station which we found fine, would not suit everyone. The local metro station is the Policlinico and there are trams nearby, so travel links are good.
