"Great venue for birthday trip"
Returned to Liverpool after 45 years for my 64th birthday (they were even playing it as we walked into the Cavern Club!) The hotel couldn't have been better for what we needed; within walk of the riverfront, shops, theatre, main town etc. Car park next door is quite expensive but very convenient. Seasonally decorated in some style but rather dark decoration throughout avoids the gairish glare of some hotels but goes a little too far in the rooms.

"One of the best hotels I've stayed in"
I am completely in love with this hotel. It's very modern but stays with the warehouse/industrial feel in the furnishings and the decor. It's off the beaten path a little but you don't really need to The room was huge and the bed was extremely comfortable. The TV screen welcomes you by name and adds a little extra personal touch to the experience. The food and drinks in the restaurant were amazing. The drinks are all handcrafted and perfectly balanced. We also did breakfast in the morning. It was so nice to look out over the little quay in between the warehouses. I would definitely stay here again.

"Lovely hotel very close to where we wanted."
The hotel was really nice, very clean the staff were fantastic room was very spacious bed very comfy. Only complaint was there's no parking!! Had to pay £14 to park over the rd! I was up to late for breakfast I'm sure it would of been lovely, if the parking was sorted I'd give the hotel 5 stars!!

"Great value caring hotel on the Waterfront."
We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel for the price. Great to have free parking so close to amenities and attractions, and the conference I was attending at ACC. After a problem with noisy guests in the room next door, we were temporarily moved to another room so we could get some sleep, whilst the duty manager spoke to the people concerned. We couldn't fault the service and friendliness of the staff. The pod shower rooms are clean and well equipped if a bit cosy!

"A stopover between England & Scotland"
To be honest, getting lost in Liverpool trying to find the hotel, having a hard time finding how to temporarily park to check in and then finding there is a garage quite seperate from the hotel was a little unsettling. So was the really intense screaming match /physical brawl right outside our door at 6am. The bleak corridors to the room were also not very soothing after all of this! BUT, the room, once in it was very clean, warm, cozy and just what we needed for a quick overnight in Liverpool. The staff at the front desk were very warm and helpful. Rates were very affordable. I just wish we slept better and weren't so unsettled by the hallway fights and parking/finding hotel difficulties!

"Amazing location in the thick of it!"
The Epic was just perfect. They bought us eggs and milk in advance of our stay (we arrived late), had great local restaurant recos. The staff was excellent, incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly. The location is right in the middle of everything Liverpool has to offer - Liverpool One, Bold Street, Albert Docks are all a short walk away. The hotel was very quiet despite being right near many bars and night clubs. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Liverpool!
