My friend and I have enjoyed our stay both times at Be Alive. It was only marred on the first night of our arrival as we could not have our deluxe room and had to go to a nearby hotel called the Belle Vue Dominican Bay. The food and entertainment were good at the Belle Vue but the room was inferior. Be Alive were apologetic for this and the inconvenience caused and recompensed us accordingly and next day we returned to our hotel and our deluxe room which we had ordered and all was well. A feature of the Be Alive Hotel are the different restaurants to go to but you must book well beforehand. We particularly liked the French and Italian restaurants.

"Great family friendly hotel, had all that I wanted"
This hotel was great for families with young kids. I came with my girlfriend and we were a bit thrown off by the hotel claiming to have 8 different pools; in reality, there was one giant pool with 8 different sections. However, the pool bar was fine and pool was clean. Location to beach was great, and food options were very satisfactory. Only downside was that it cost $43 to get access to the Japanese Hibachi restaurant and $45 for the Steak and Lobster restaurant. All of the restaurants my girlfriend and I dined at were good.
