The room upgrade wasn’t great at all. There was also an issue with guest services and it was a terrible experience. I expressed it to the manager & nothing was done. I wanted to extend my stay but due to the experience I had, I booked an Airbnb.

Great resort overall! Beach is very large and not crowded with relatively clearwater. Lots of accommodations and things to do, but very little to no explanation of what they are (ex Kayaks and included water therapy for Adults resort members). You really have to learn as you go or hear it from another guest. The activity staff for the beach and pool were awesome and kept things very lively! Serving staff for the restaurants were very good, but not too chatty with guests.

Serenade was a great place to stay. We booked the master suite and were very pleased with the room. We also got a butler which was a pleasant surprise! We used them to help book dinners and activities. They also decorated my room as I celebrated my birthday there. My opinion is that the buffet had better food than the restaurants on site. The spa was my favorite activity! They are experienced, pleasant and delivered a wonderful experience! Overall we were very happy with our trip and would definitely return!

The resort is very nice and clean, great staff, room was amazing. Food was good but not great. What I did not like is the fact that there are no ATMs in the property which makes it very difficult to get cash to tip the staff. You have to rent transportation to go all the way to town to get cash, very annoying and inconvenient.

Overall, this property was beautiful. The housekeeping was top notch. We travel to tropical destinations so this review is comparative. The beach area was wonderful. They did a great job clearing the seaweed to enhance the experience. The pool area was on par with other adult only hotels. The best seats were saved using towels by 9:00 am. There was a towel exchange program that limited towel use to 2 at a time. The buffet restaurant had stations where fresh meat, fish, stir fry, pizza and pasta was prepared. A wide variety was available. The rooms were spacious BUT there were lots of blinking lights; the coffeemaker blinked; and two overhead motion sensors blinked red when you move, even while sleeping. The shows mostly start at 9:30 so save some energy, we never could. Overall this was a solid hotel to relax.

My wife and I just got back from a trip to Punta Cana and stayed at the Serenade All Suites (Adults Only) side. We traveled with another couple and the four of us had a wonderful experience! The resort is about 25 minutes from the airport, which is convenient. It’s modern with a nice design — the rooms were clean and spacious. We booked reservations at several restaurants for dinner and the food was amazing! For breakfast and lunch, we hit up the buffet, which was pretty good. The staff went above and beyond. Alejandro was our butler and he made sure our dinner reservations were confirmed (even when the app said it was fully booked). He helped us book an excursion for a party boat tour. On the way back from the tour, I accidentally left my bag in the transportation van which had my phone and some cash. The staff tracked down the transportation company and they returned my bag the next morning. The entertainment staff was fun and friendly with good vibes. We played water volleyball, foam beach party along with few other activities — and each time they brought their energy! Overall, we had a positive experience and would recommend staying here. It offered a nice balance of relaxation and opportunities to party (if that’s what you’re looking for).

The resort was lovely. They kept everything nice and clean. We did have a few maintenance issues with our room - Many outlets didn't work, so we had to have a technician come 3 times during our stay. One night I received a late night/early morning call from the front desk telling me that water was dripping down from our balcony to the room below us. It turned out that our hot tub was leaking. Our butler, Alejandro, was fantastic. He promptly addressed all of our issues and was a pleasure to have around during our stay. One last note to mention is that if you have a tropical or garden view room, be prepared for roosters to wake you up early in the morning.

I liked a lot all the restaurants except Ocean, this one doesn't has good service and the quality of foods is bad, also the offer is poor. In comparison with Market, Ocean is nothing. Sorry, but this facility affect the services of this resort. Congrats for the rest of the places into your hotel.

Paid for a room with private hot tub. Hot tub would not hold water. Took 4 requests (3 days of a 5 day stay) to get maintenance to repair the tub. Filled the tub with water but the water would not heat. Cold “hot” tub. The property refused to credit the upcharge for the hot tub. Expedia did give $100 in travel credits. Will NEVER go back

The resort was clean and room was nice. The pools were also clean and enjoyable. But overall, would not stay here again. The drinks were so bad the food was awful. We tried two of the restaurants and they were not any level above the buffet. The only buffet food that was worth eating was fruit, freshly made eggs, and freshly made pasta or fried rice. Everything else appeared to be sitting out a while and was majorly over or under cooked. The beverages had an added sweetness/odd flavor to them. The staff was kind but at times overly friendly and crossed inappropriate boundaries with my friend and I (two females). Unfortunate experience for my first time in the DR.
