Our stay was fantastic! We stayed in the elegance club, which was well worth it due to our incredibly helpful butler, Santo. He was always walking the resorts in search of his "fan club" to ensure that we all had a great stay. He was incredibly personable and helpful in how to deal with the airport, taxi, or anything else we needed. The entertainment at the hotel is always booming. They have shows every night which are amazing(the circus show and the dance show especially), and they have nightly dancing with live music hosted by Nikki, whom we also took a Spanish lesson from and learned a lot (she's hilarious too!). In terms of any questions we had, we always went to the especially hilarious Cesar who is in guest services for elegance club members. If you want a good laugh and immediate help with anything, you go to him. This resort was so fantastic with its delicious food, most excellent workers, and just amazing amenities. Amenities that we're our favorite included the pool and beach side beds (elegance club only), bars with very nice staff, and overall excellent service. Elegance club is worth it!

Fantastic resort, I would highly recommend!!!
The food and service massively exceeded our expectations. Our rooms were close to the beach and pool, which was an absolute treat and worked our really well for us. The service was second to none, and i'm seriously considering going back already! The resort even had flamingos and peacocks walking around, truly felt like paradise.
Only snag is that our rooms were not great, and the attention to detail was just not there (in terms of replenishment). Our TV was not working properly but this was not much of an issue as we spent little time in the rooms.
Great experience, and Melia Caribe helped use create some wonderful memories.

We will definitely be back! We had a great week long stay here and would highly recommend this resort! Great staff, great entertainment, variety in food options, and great place for rest and relaxation! Only thing that could be improved on is more loungers at the pool.

The location is awesome. Located on a very fun beach and 10 min cab or 45 min walk to Old San Juan. Excellent staff and nice rooms. The elevators had an issue during our stay. Highly recommend the ocean view rooms.

Comfy rooms. Beautiful view looking at the rainforest. Self parking expensive especially since the elevator didn't work by the self parking. Had to take shuttle or walk from parking garage back to hotel. Good casino. Onsite restaurants expensive, and not too many choices to eat onsite during the week. Great food choices nearby (5 km). Couldn't swim at beach due to high winds and storms.

Property/Resort: (5 out of 5) Beautiful, expansive property with great views. We stayed for 4 days, 3 nights during Christmas. The resort was festively decorated. Mostly clean on the main property (pool, bars, restaurant, etc.) Staff was friendly. Slow service at times, but it was a busy travel time. Easy to get around and plenty of activities. Numerous pools and bars if you want to escape crowds or noise.
Room/Accommodations: (2.5 out of 5) The room was a little worn down - stains on the sheets and towels, holes in the curtains and bedding. Our room was not ready at the 3pm check-in time so they gave us a different room. It wasn't cleaned thoroughly. The floor hadn't been swept or mopped and there was a small amount of dirt and hair on the floor. We had to ask for a blanket for the bed, as well as an alarm clock & iron (which never came.) We also requested slippers because the floor was freezing AND dirty. On our 2nd day we noticed mouse droppings in the bathroom (our room was on the 1st floor.) The room was spacious - with a separate living room, two outside seating areas. The couch in the living room was uncomfortable, but we didn't spend much time in that room. The mattress was reasonably comfortable (firm) but the pillows were like bricks. Large bathroom, with a jetted tub and separate shower was a little worn down but fine for the amount of time that we stayed.
Restaurants (4 out of 5): Plenty of options for food - we didn't get to try every restaurant but the ones w
