This was our second time at this resort and it did not disappoint!!! We came for a destination wedding/vacation both times. The resort is clean & very spacious. Even with a hundred people just for the wedding we were attending and so many other hotel guests you never felt on top of each other. With all of the restaurants, the buffet, the beautiful beach, many swimming pools in addition to the Lg main pool, the boulevard (which is a mini shopping center on site at the resort that has stores, restaurants, a pub, a nightclub, wine shop, ice cream shop, arcade with bowling,etc) , a water park kids, indoor & outdoor bars, juice station, and the just so many little quaint spots just to lounge quietly. There is a place for everyone no matter what you prefer to do for your stay. The resort is expanding and I can’t wait to return again! We were given the most professional, accommodating and nicest concierge/Butler. His name was Senel Delusmat|. He was a complete gentleman!! Well dressed & manicured! From the first day we arrived he greeted us with a bottle of wine and assured us that he was at our service for the duration of our stay. He helped me set up all of my dinner reservations for the entire week. Sometimes our dinner parties were groups up to 22 people. He made it happen!! He also helped arrange our Spa appointments (so worth it) Senels efforts and dedication to our satisfaction were exceptional! Our stay would not have been pleasant without all of his efforts. Truly Grateful!

This property was 10/10. Everything was perfect. The staff was friendly only down fall is very little English (they don’t understand English at all I had to download a translator app) but other than that. Food was amazing a lot of different restaurants to visit, a lot of different bars, I love the ice cream place. A lot of shopping you don’t even have to leave the resort for nothing, everything is there. You can book your tour right at the resort. Everything!

We stayed at Lopesan Costa Bávaro from August 11–14. Thankfully it was only a short trip, because while the resort grounds are beautiful, the experience was extremely disappointing and concerning. On our second morning at breakfast, we saw a cockroach crawling around our table. After that, we decided not to eat at the resort for the remainder of our stay. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t stop there. In one of my Bahama Mama drinks, I discovered plastic pieces. The day before, I had noticed small hard white chunks in another drink and assumed it might have been coconut or fruit. But the following day I realized otherwise when I found a white plastic cap from the juice mixers at the bottom of my drink. This was especially alarming because I am pregnant, and I worried that I may have ingested plastic fragments. It left me feeling unsafe in an environment where guests should be able to relax and trust the food and beverages being served. To make matters worse, my husband came down with a stomach bug on the second night, which further raised concerns about the resort’s hygiene and food safety standards. We brought all of this to management’s attention, but the only response we received was: “We are going to look into this matter.” There was no apology, no reassurance, and no attempt to make things right. For a resort that presents itself as luxury and all-inclusive, this experience was unacceptable. Cleanliness, food and beverage safety, and guest health should be top prior
