Overall the property was nice. Room 7215 had a moldy musty smell when we arrived. The AC vents need a good cleaning. Kevin our concierge for the most part was helpful with reservations and excursion bookings. I did not like being bombarded by the representatives that want you to sit in on a vacation club sales pitch as soon as I checked in. After a long flight I do not want to be bothered by a sales pitch. At least give us time to settle in. I suggest you ask at checkin if you would like to listen to the vacation club offer. If you say yes you’re put into the system and called the next day to schedule. If you say no you’re left alone for the rest of your vacation.

Hidden fees , worst experience with Expedia and hotel considerations, and dirty pools areas: We have to pay more at the time of our check in because our son appears as a baby. Our Expedia booking clearly shows 2 adults and 1 child (attached), yet the hotel claimed the reservation listed our child as an infant and charged us extra to allow him to stay. This was a complete surprise and caused stress and financial hardship during our trip. And there’s was no empathy about the situation. We never listed our child as an infant, and confirmation shows this clearly. Therefore, this appears to be a transmission error between Expedia and the hotel. To make matters worse, another family traveling with us experienced the same issue with their Expedia booking and have to pay the exact amount of extra money because their daughter appears as a baby too. This shows a broader problem affecting families using your platform. Pools were greenish and with a lot of dirt. The water was so dirty that you can’t see yourself on it while swimming. If you put your googles on and started swimming around the pools you can see there was band-aids, food wrapping, straws, cups, etc. A total disaster. Poor room service and cleaning our room was left without cleaning for 3 days in a row. If it wasn’t for hotel crew members that were the best; this was one of the worst experiences.

Horrible food and worse service. You have to wait in line for everything. Low paid staff are very nice. Management is terrible. They messed up our reservation. We were charged 226 dollars to sleep on the floor the first night. The horrible show continued until we were forced to leave early. I will be filing a law suit against h10 and will never use the hotel again.

Hola, estuve en el hotel por 7 días, traté de adelantar mi vuelo para irme antes pero la aerolínea no me lo permitió. El hotel es muy grande por lo que no tienen transporte suficiente y tienes que caminar mucho. El servicio pésimo parece que las personas que trabajan ahí están obligados porque solo te atienden si les das buena propina. Para reservar el los restaurantes tienes que pagar porque siempre están llenos desde las 8am sino sueltas dinero no puedes reservar y te toca ir al bufet que no hay variedad de comida y lo que hay es pésimo. En verdad que no se lo recomiendo a nadie.

Reserved a double queen room got a king with sofa sleeper and told no availability of a double room even though that’s what was booked. House cleaning hit or miss really hard to get clean towels. Great all inclusive! Travelled here with my husband a 4 boys ranging from 9-18. The food was decent, we loved the nearby excursions, and having a concierge for support throughout our stay was definitely beneficial. Wish the beach was nicer but completely out of their control and wish there were more authentic Dominican food, but the excursion provided us with a nice tasting experience. The boys liked the family lounge when it wasn’t too crowded and the hotel rooms were spacious. Overall great!

Overall we did enjoy our time here. Things that will probably deter us from visiting again are as follows: the shower runs into the bathroom, the food was not very good and was almost alway cold from the buffet, we requested wash cloths multiple times and did not receive any or only got one, room service food was never good.

We loved the staff attending the bars — everyone was exceptionally kind and welcoming. Special thanks to Alejandro at the lobby area bar and Alexandra in the spa area; both went above and beyond to make our experience even more enjoyable The only thing I didn't like was that, in the meal reservation area, the best time slots were never available — even when I logged in right at the opening time for reservations.
