Responsive staff, good listener, cooperative management, good location, safe and clean environment. Good shuttle service daily to places of interest like Dubai Mall, Jumeirah beach etc. We stayed for two weeks with my family and we can't fault them in any way. I will surely return there again.
Nice swimming pool, good sauna and steam bath room. Good staff there as we'll. Excellent receptionist Olivia and co.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. The last time I stayed was over 3 years ago, and some of the same hotel staff recognized me and welcomed me back. The service was excellent, and so was the food and staff.

Great hotel, chilled atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was lovely especially the pancakes. The location is great, only a short walk to the metro which is very easy and cheap to use. Being in the historic quarter is delightful, a total contrast to the rest of Dubai, relaxing and restful.

We stayed at this hotel twice over a two week period and had consistent (good) experience. Once in a two bedroom apartment and once in a 3 bedroom apartment. The location is good with restaurants close by. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and clean. The staff is courteous. The checkin takes a little bit of time and we had to repeat our facilities requests several times (additional coffee cups as the three bedroom apartment only had two coffee cups) before the items were delivered. All in all, a good place to stay for short visits.

I was there for two nights on business. The style of the hotel is sort of special. It is a bit of the atmosphere like a bar, with the reception lobby all in a dimm light, and access to the hotel through a drive in to a basement level (has its advantages in 44 degrees C), lift up to reception and then use a different set of lifts to get to the rooms. The staff however were really nice and helpful in every aspect. The room also had its peculiar style with a bathroom walled off by a huge glass instead of a wall and fixtures sort of stylish. Nice. The condition of the room was good, not looking brand new but ok. The internet was not working for about a full day, but that did not seem to be a problem of the hotel but the provider. The roof-top gives a great view onto the city skyline. The AC is comfortable and does not blow you the cold wind in the face, but is quiet and you don't notice it. I would think it is perfect for a honeymoon or vacation. For business I was not sure if I wanted to invite my guests there, because of its sort of cosy- dimm light style, but it is nice and comfortable. The price was awesome and I got value for money, no doubt.

The main administrative and shopping district, Bur Dubai contains some of Dubai's oldest buildings. Bastakiya is a carefully restored 'heritage quarter' of narrow alleys and courtyard houses cooled by wind-towers. Sheikh Maktoum's House (now a museum) is a fine example of 19th-century Arabian architecture. The nearby Dubai Museum offers a succinct account of the Emirate's history, while the Heritage & Diving Village recreates its maritime past.
