"A two night break "
A lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. The staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. The food was delicious. Y only Critism was the coffee and tea maker in our room which was not particularly user friendly and didn’t produce a good cup of tea or coffee. Much prefer a kettle and a teapot! However, we had a lovely time.

"Brand new hotel on the habour."
Fantastic! We stayed here for my husbands birthday. From the moment we stepped into the hotel until we checked out, the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. As you would expect for a new hotel, the rooms and facilities were immaculate. The gym was very well equipt. The small swimming pool had a steam room and sauna and small jacuzzi. Not very many chairs or loungers on the pool side though so we didn't stay there for long. We didn't eat in the restaurant but booked a local restaurant on the habour front, all within easy walking. Breakfast was served on the 6th floor. The habour views were amazing as was breakfast. Worth just going infor a coffee for the views. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

"Nice hotel close to the cathedral "
I stayed at the hotel for a business conference and was made to feel extremely welcome from the moment I stepped through the door. The room was clean and very spacious and the breakfast selection was excellent. I even managed to squeeze in a quick visit to the cathedral!

Legacy Rose and Crown Hotel

Harnham Road, Salisbury - Map
"Great place to stay near centre of Salisbury"
The hotel was an ideal place to stay whilst visiting Salisbury. Although we only stayed at the hotel for one night, the staff we met were all really nice & offered advice on places to visit. It took about 10 minutes to walk into the centre of Salisbury, but as there is a car-park at the hotel, it meant we didn't have to struggle to park. The menu looked very good for the evening meal on the Sunday, even though we didn't eat there. We only had the continental breakfast, but some people on a near-by table had the cooked breakfast which looked good. We would certainly stay here again next time we come to the area.

"Lovely hotel."
I enjoyed staying there. Rooms were fine, beds most comfrtable. The staff were most helpful. My chiefs concern was the cost of food which I. Felt was. Unreasonable. My fellow guest had a steak which we both too expensive, but could not believe they also charged extra for the vetables; A bottle of water is available foe £5.00. A shame it took the shine off our stay

    Pocket Guide: Winchester Winchester Hotels

The ancient capital of England, and once the seat of King Alfred, historic Winchester is famous for its magnificent cathedral begun in 1079, and venerable Winchester College founded in 1382. The picturesque area around the Cathedral Green has changed little over the centuries, and offers good places to eat, drink and shop. A short walk across the water meadows, the 12th-century Hospital of St Cross is England’s most perfectly preserved almshouse.
