"Overnight stay before ferry to France"
Generally a great little hotel, and far better than the rest of the hotels in the area. This was a second stay and would use the hotel again. Whilst the hotel is well situated some rooms can be subject o outside noise - including late night partygoers returning from pubs after midnight.

"Very good hotel for reasonable price"
Unfortunately due to delay we did not arrive in time to enjoy the facilities such as swimming pool, so unable to comment on these. Staff all appeared to be friendly Family rooms were plenty large enough although I found the bed to be rather hard, but this is a personal thing. I thought that the bar was a little disappointing considering the size of the hotel, but again this was a personal thought. Overall a very good hotel for the price.

"A second home"
We found The Leconfield some years ago and visit as often as we can. It's cheaper than buying a 2nd home in a place we love! Paul, Cheryl and their team make you so welcome, and the hotel is comfortable and clean, and beautifully situated. This visit was mid summer and the Isle was busier than we are used to, but there are plenty of places to 'get away from it all'. Lovers of nature will appreciate its largely unspoilt character, while lovers of food will find plenty to please them. Ask Paul for some recommendations!

"Lovely stay"
What a pleasant surprise! I picked this hotel based on proximity to the train station and the Wickham music festival so my expectations were limited. I would stay here anytime going forward.

"Lovely"
Absolutely beautiful. The hotel rooms were very clean and modern and the hotel owners have made sure to put that little extra in each of the rooms. Breakfast had a good choice and the pub downstairs in very country like.

"Interesting Older Hotel, nice condition."
Good hotel, close to old town Portsmouth, yet close to the Historic Dockyards. About a 11 minute walk from Gunwharf Quays Holiday Inn Express. Great breakfast, clean, orderly, good food, and great staff! The elevator was the only feature we thought was an issue. It was very small & slow, simply an older version of a european lift. The staff were helpful, engaging and deserve high marks!

"Very nice hotel"
There is plenty of parking. The hotel looks great. The receptionist was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was lovely with a gigantic bed. The bathroom had ESPA products in which I was pleased about. It was quite dated though with a bath and shower curtain. I would have much rather had a nice glass shower. I didn't go in the pool due to time however it looked nice. There was also a spa that looked very busy on the morning we left. Breakfast was excellent, there was loads of choice. However I wish that the waitor had pointed out to us that you can order some items off a menu rather than going to the buffet. I didn't notice the menu with pancakes on until it was too late and I'd eaten the cooked breakfast. The juice was delicious but the glasses were absolutely tiny so I had to keep refilling which was a bit annoying. Overall, we thoroughly recommend this hotel and enjoyed our stay.

Hayling Island is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Hayling Island, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Hayling Island hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
