they would not give me my money back for my breakfast vouchers I had bought and could not use since we did not realize that we had to leave the hotel so early.

"Great value if a little soulless "
It is no surprise this hotel is popular; Farnborough has nothing going for it so the locals seem to have embraced the chance to have an upscale pub to watch the football with decent gym attached. Beloved by wannabe WAGs and TOWIE types, it is nonetheless clean, stylish and cheap.

"A Grey Experience"
The staff are terrific, could'nt do enough to help. We accepted the third room shown to us. Reason being - the rooms are small. But, the bathrooms are fantastic. In fact, the bathroom in the first room we were shown, was larger than the bedroom, also, the bedroom door opened onto the car park! My son had the family room at the top of the building, which was spacious. Breakfast's are very good with lots of choice. We did have a problem with our evening meal when we first arrived, which was very disappointing and quite expensive at £184 for four - but on departure, the Manager reduced our bill by £40. I think the interior designers who worked on this Hotel forgot that the colour pallet has many more colours, other than grey - it's everywhere! Also, please remove all the old books that are scattered around - clients need the space for their belongings...

"Great location but very dated "
We stayed for one night at the Forbury so we could be bright and early to attend daughters graduation ceremony. Hotel was is a great location right next to Carluccios and a couple of minutes from the Oracle. It's a great looking building from the front too - and from the courtyard. Lovely architecture. The staff were great but as for being 5 star, well it might have been once upon a time. We stayed in one of the apartments which was huge and there were only the two of us. Two bedrooms with ensuites and a separate cloakroom. It also had a huge lounge and kitchen - though we couldn't fathom out how to get a picture on the TV!! Think that may have been user error!!! Rooms were good and sort of clean but carpets were badly marked in places making them look dirty and tiles in bathroom were stained. The area by the lifts as well as the lifts themselves could probably benefit from a refurb. Kitchen was pretty spotless. We had to walk from reception to the apartments which were at the back and we went down a staircase by the kitchen where the carpet looked like something Mum had in her house in the 70's and while nothing wrong with a bit of retro it did have a bit of a bad foody sort of smell as you walked there. It did lead to a lovely courtyard garden. Shame but we never had time to try it out. I'd stay there again but if you are looking for 5 star this maybe isn't the one.

"Nice hotel, great location"
I stayed here on a Monday night. Check in was easy and quick (despite the breakfast sales pitch!). Staff are very friendly and professional. My room was clean, quite small but space was maximised. It's heading towards needing a redecoration though. It felt more targeted to someone on a business trip (desk was half the size of the bed!) But good for a night. The products are a very generous size but only shower gel and shampoo (no body lotion). There is air con and it works well! I didn't hear any noise from street/other guests. All in all a pleasant stay.

Wokingham is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Wokingham, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Wokingham hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
