Nice quiet location near main areas. Family friendly! The staff was excellent! The beds are comfortable! The only disappointment was misunderstanding the extent of the construction going on. We picked this hotel because of the Cabana areas, which were non-existent due to construction when we stayed. I'm sure it's going to be beautiful and amazing when it's done. The pool was open. It was clean as well as nice and warm regardless of time of day. We really enjoyed our trip here.

"Wonderful Hotel"
Great place to stay in Palm Springs. We checked in and our room had a defective door, and without hesitation the staff upgraded us to a suite upstairs. The room was amazing, and the pool was so relaxing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.

"Quiet, affordable hotel in downtown Palm Desert."
My wife and I stayed on a Wednesday night in April. The room was very clean and well appointed. Our room faced the pool and we had our own little sitting area just outside our door - perfect for catching up on some reading. The setting wasn't fancy (the hotel is behind a strip mall with a Subway and liquor store) but truly once you are within the walls and by the pool, it feels like you are in your own world. Very quiet. No street noise at all. My wife liked the tile floor in the room, especially since the hotel is pet friendly - she felt it made it cleaner. We have a dog but didn't bring him this time - we may next time. The A/C blasted cold air like a champ. I used the pool (refreshing and clean) and the hot tub (warm and lots of air jets). They have several gas grills available and we did see some guests cooking up burgers for their families. We'd come back for sure.

"A Hidden Desert Jewel"
What a beautiful guiet little gem of a hotel. Close to downtown but nestled outside of downtown so its quiet. The room I stsyed in was almost 600sg ft and very comfortable. The grounds are very well kept, and the staff were very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel. I'll be staying there again 😉

"Quaint hotel centrally located in Downtown Spring."
I received a warm reception upon arrival. The hotel grounds are nice. The hotel representative helped me with my bags and gave me a "tour" of my room. The room was quaint and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. The pool area was nice and clean. Concerns: They have a very antiquated management system. I actually had to sign and initial a contract agreeing to follow specified "rules and expectations." The paperwork was very dated. When I ordered a drink at the pool "bar" I paid cash and when I asked for a receipt the "bartender" told me that they don't give a receipt at the bar, it would be printed on my bill upon checkout. I told him that I wanted a receipt and he became rude, telling me that he did not have to give me a receipt. I asked for the small tear off portion of the old fashioned receipt book that he used to record my purchase. He appeared upset and hostile. I told him that at other hotels they provide receipts for purchases. He told me that they do not have an updated system for that. When I checked out, I received a partially legible, old fashioned looking print out of my bill. Bottomline, the Andreas Hotel needs to update their management and commerce systems to at least the 20th century, but really it needs to be updated to the current 21st Century. They are not the Royal Palms anymore, time has moved on, society and technology has evolved dramatically.

"Nice Suite"
The place is very spacious. It feels like home and they have everything for you to cook. The only negative part is that they don't have staff available for you to check in or talk to in person in certain hours, also we have to clean everything or else we get charge a cleaning fee.

"Fun stay at the Ace"
We spent a couple nights at the ace during trip to Palm Springs. The pool is busy but the amenities are quite nice, no charges for loungers etc. And the people watching is great. The rooms are the nicest of any Ace Ive stated at, the bed was unbelievably comfortable. At night they have lovely outdoor fireplaces lit up where it was quiet enough to cozy up with a book. However... there are TONS of kids at this hotel. Like a lot of families. I love kids and actually enjoy the sound of them playing around the pool. However, due to the layout of the facilities one finds them inside grabbing a drink with wet, yelling kids running through the bar. The restairant was chockablock full of kids, and what i found annoying was securing spota at the pool early then being asked to move multiple times by mommies who came later but wanted a bunch of front row chairs together for their families. Lastly... staff need to up their game. Theres no clear process for service aroubd the pool or outdoor restaurant and no one makes the time to explain it. I asked about breakfast a d was told to sit where there was a table and after waiting for half ab hour i asked another staff, who told me i needed to check in at the bar first. (With an eye roll). After waiting another 10 i conceded defeat and went for a lovely brunch elsewhere.

San Jacinto Mountains is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in San Jacinto Mountains, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your San Jacinto Mountains hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
