Our stay was wonderful. The staff were all very nice, especially Brenda, who oversaw the breakfast. She was above and beyond. Beside setting up a fabulous breakfast she was gentle and friendly with our 3 littles who weren’t always model guests. We were in the pool a lot with the kids and it was refreshing, clean and well maintained but could use some care. There was several tiles missing. Overall our stay was great, just what we were looking for and we will probably return.

Palm Desert Holiday Inn Express

I originally booked two rooms - to pay upon arrival. My sister was in one room, and husband and I in the other. When we arrived, I asked to pay for the rooms separately so we could each pay for our own, and the person at the desk was highly confused about that. Took quite a long time for them to figure it out. The room itself was fine, not much space to put toiletries, etc., but I did appreciate the coffee maker in the room. The bed was just OK, the mattress had some lumps and bumps. Breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast, but the did have a pancake maker. They also offered a couple of omelets, sausage, cereal, pastries, yogurt, potatoes, juices. Plenty to get your day going. they also have a little area to purchase snacks, ice cream, etc. I appreciate that they are pet friendly. I would stay here again if I was in the area. It seemed safe and was quiet.

Staff was excellent. Breakfast was good and filling but I did miss bacon availability. Food options were very good. Hotel in general was extremely nice and close to Acuisure Arena- Will definitely be there again for another concert and plenty of restaurants close by for dinner. Highly recommend.

Was attending a conference down the road for a few days and didn't want to pay the exorbitant rates at the resort. This was perfect. Older property but several people I met at the conference were staying there as well. Smart!

Overall good. Nice breakfast. Could give 5 star if the gym had better quality tread mill- just had one and no elliptical. Also a/c was turned off by management on both days. Elevator button malfunctioning- need to press for a minute to reach floor.
