"Clean place, fun pool"
Hotel was clean, though the place could probably use a few updates. staff were friendly. Poolside is where we spent most of our time and it was wonderful.

"Trendy desert hotel"
Big fan of the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs. Beautiful pool area, dreamy view of the desert and the rooms are super cool. Huge, comfortable bed, good speaker, robes that look like they are from a shaman starter pack. Perfect for desert getaway.

"Close to town, friendly staff, beautiful grounds"
We had a wonderful time staying at Palm Mountain Resort. EVERY staff member was friendly, helpful, and professional. Our room was clean, the bed had a very nice white bedcover, and a comfortable mattress. The pool area had great lounge chairs and many large umbrellas available when we wanted to be in the shade. The grounds were beautiful, very well taken care of. We choose this hotel because my husband is limited to short walks. This was ideal for us, it was so close to restaurants, shops, and activities.

"Spacious budget-friendly in downtown Palm Springs"
Our group of four adults stayed here for the White Party in May of 2017. The location was perfect for accessing all the venues on foot as well as downtown Palm Springs restaurants. Our room was on the third floor facing away from the pool. Our room was very large with a full kitchen, massive bathroom with two toilets, jetted tub, two sinks, separate shower, and walk-in closet. We also had a large living room with pull-out sofa bed that could sleep two adults. The balcony spanned the width of the suite. We had no issues with noise from outside or nearby rooms. Everything about the hotel and the room is a time capsule from the 1980s, but it was adequately clean and functional. One of the toilets clogged the second night, and within five minutes of making a phone request, maintenance was there fixing it. A nice plus is that they have ample underground parking; we were able to get four parking passes for no additional charge. The only minor complaints we had were that the beds were not the most comfortable, that our room was a very long walk from the elevators, and that normal check-out time is an absurdly early 10am (which we were able to extend to 11am by calling that morning). We did not use the pool, gym, or laundry facilities, so I cannot speak to them.

    Explore Palm Springs

Where Hollywood’s early movie stars made their decadent weekend escapes, and Frank Sinatra and his Rat Pack threw swinging cocktail parties in the 1960s, “PS” is a swank resort. Today, this Southern California desert destination is as famous for indulgent spas and fashion-forward style as for its Mid-Century Modern architectural treasures.

It’s easy to walk around downtown Palm Springs, where everyone comes out for Thursday night street fairs. For a more sophisticated day or evening out, go art gallery hopping and shopping in Uptown’s Design District. Meanwhile, Arenas Road is a hot spot for Palm Spring’s gay and lesbian nightlife scene.

If you want to do more than just swing a golf club or swill a cocktail by the pool, Palm Springs has a lot more to offer. An aerial tramway can whisk you 6000 feet above the desert floor into Mount San Jacinto State Park for summer hiking and winter snow sports. Or take a guided walk on Native American tribal land in Indian Canyons and Tahquitz Canyon.
