"A good quality hotel for the price"
The first room assigned was very poor - needed renovation. The room we used had been renovated so was good.

"Great experience "
I wasn't to sure what to expect reading some of the reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. The resort is older but has been relatively updated. It's not the most sound proof between floors so you can hear a heavy footed walker if you're in the bottom suite. Our room was facing the golf course and was overall nice and quiet. It's great having your own kitchen and it's equipped with pretty much everything you need. The pools are lovely and heated which made late night swimming in the rain enjoyable. I think since we went in January the resort was less busy and the few times we used the pool we had it to ourselves. The location was great. It was relatively close to many stores, malls, restaurants, movie theatres and zoos. Although you definitely need a vechile to get around. It was a great experience for our first trip to Palm Springs.

"Close to downtown"
Our stay at Hard Rock was the perfect getaway. The hotel is really close to the downtown area and the staff was very helpful. I am gluten free and dairy free for medical reasons and the restaurant in the hotel was so accommodating! Although it rained during most of the daylight hours of our trip, we were still able to make the most of it by wandering the hotel and looking at all of the artwork and items that the rockstars had sent over for the guests to enjoy. We also went to the spa for services. Our facial and massage were relaxing and we liked the music that they had. The one thing I would have liked would have been a sauna or a steam room to enjoy before or after the services. Other than that, we had a great time!

"A ten second walk into the best part of downtown"
The hotel is clean and in a safe area just seconds from the best part of downtown Palm Springs. Room was comfortable and the only thing i would change is that the window didn't open. I would have liked some fresh air. I would stay here again.

    Explore Palm Springs

Where Hollywood’s early movie stars made their decadent weekend escapes, and Frank Sinatra and his Rat Pack threw swinging cocktail parties in the 1960s, “PS” is a swank resort. Today, this Southern California desert destination is as famous for indulgent spas and fashion-forward style as for its Mid-Century Modern architectural treasures.

It’s easy to walk around downtown Palm Springs, where everyone comes out for Thursday night street fairs. For a more sophisticated day or evening out, go art gallery hopping and shopping in Uptown’s Design District. Meanwhile, Arenas Road is a hot spot for Palm Spring’s gay and lesbian nightlife scene.

If you want to do more than just swing a golf club or swill a cocktail by the pool, Palm Springs has a lot more to offer. An aerial tramway can whisk you 6000 feet above the desert floor into Mount San Jacinto State Park for summer hiking and winter snow sports. Or take a guided walk on Native American tribal land in Indian Canyons and Tahquitz Canyon.
