"Our favorite place to stay in Palm Springs"
This motel gives us such nostalgia from an era we love to look back at, but never got to live through. It has been revived and updated, but kept simple. With soft 50's and 60's music playing in the pool area, it is just the absolute best experience. Jose and Joey were as helpful as they could be, and immediately took care of us when our card key wouldn't work at the gym, which yes they even have a gym and large jacuzzi to go with an enormous pool. I mean c'mon, this place meshes a tropical Hawaiian tiki god ambiance with all the best feelings you get when adventuring to a cool Route 66 motel. Don't be coming here if you are overly picky or think you should be waited on hand and foot. It's a relaxed vibe, very comfortable bed, and built to just soak in the peace. We normally try to come during off times though, so I can imagine it can gets hoppin' pretty well on the weekends and holidays.

"Lack of hot water"
The hot water in our room was luke warm at best. We did not bring it to hotel staff until we checked out, they said they would give it to maintenance to resolve. Other then the hot water issue we really enjoyed our stay and will be returning. The free breakfast was a lot of nothing, expect to go out for breakfast.

"Quiet Sanctuary"
Framed photographs from days gone by give a glimpse of the former allure this hotel enjoyed under the ownership of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball. Our room was well appointed and exceptionally clean. Beds were comfortable. We had a stunning view of the golf course and mountains which we could enjoy on a small outdoor patio. A large refrigerator easily held snacks, light meals, and beverages. An in-room safe provided security for valuables during our stay. The expanded continental breakfast was adequate and appreciated. There was some confusion about whether or not our room would be handicapped accessible- something I clearly requested for the benefit of my 90-year-old mother. When I called to confirm our reservation the day before we traveled, the clerk told me the hotel did not have handicapped accessible rooms. He offered to make sure we had a ground floor room. When we arrived, we were indeed provided with a ground floor room that had grab bars, a high profile toilet, and an excellent, immense walk-in shower in the bathroom. I'm not sure if the issue is one of technical legal definitions or lack of knowledge, but our room did provide all necessary accommodations for wheelchair access. We encourage the hotel to expand their displays of artifacts from the early days of the hotel. The history of the place is a large part of why we chose to stay there.

"Well priced hotel near the convention center"
The room was small but very clean and the bed was comfortable. I was traveling alone, so the room size was fine. Would have enjoyed TV in bedroom, but TV room/couch were fine. Shower was good. Thanks!

"A nice budget hotel"
A classic case of "don't judge the book by its cover". Looks a tad strange from the outside , but really a quaint little hotel with comfortable rooms. I liked the tile floors and tile showers (no tubs). They do have continental breakfast but wish it started earlier than 830am.

    Explore Palm Springs

Where Hollywood’s early movie stars made their decadent weekend escapes, and Frank Sinatra and his Rat Pack threw swinging cocktail parties in the 1960s, “PS” is a swank resort. Today, this Southern California desert destination is as famous for indulgent spas and fashion-forward style as for its Mid-Century Modern architectural treasures.

It’s easy to walk around downtown Palm Springs, where everyone comes out for Thursday night street fairs. For a more sophisticated day or evening out, go art gallery hopping and shopping in Uptown’s Design District. Meanwhile, Arenas Road is a hot spot for Palm Spring’s gay and lesbian nightlife scene.

If you want to do more than just swing a golf club or swill a cocktail by the pool, Palm Springs has a lot more to offer. An aerial tramway can whisk you 6000 feet above the desert floor into Mount San Jacinto State Park for summer hiking and winter snow sports. Or take a guided walk on Native American tribal land in Indian Canyons and Tahquitz Canyon.
