I was offered a “free upgrade” for a smaller room w a queen bed and a bunk bed ..instead of a 2 queen beds. The front desk made me wait 20 min at the front desk to get a room key and they were late delivering the type of room that I prepaid for. Be careful of them conning you into a “better” room that is actually far worse!!

Decided on this location for a family trip with the kids and it did not disappoint - my kids had the time of their lives! Us adults also enjoyed our time. The hotel itself is beautiful. I really appreciated the attention to details throughout, and even noticed the attentiveness of the staff to maintain and keep everything clean and neat. The room was a wonderful size, with perfect for a family. The bathroom was large with a shower and tub, there was a fridge and mini bar, and also a balcony. The icing on the cake was the automated lights under the bed that would come on as you walk by….a thoughtful touch. I love all of the pool options available, for children and adults. The lazy river is wonderful….we literally spent a whole day in and out of there. They also have a nice water slide. The food and drinks by the pool were delicious! We ate a one restaurant inside the hotel (Carmocha), and honestly….it was ok. Nothing to brag about. The fried chicken was the best thing in my opinion, LOL. Would def recommend this hotel for family trips and would definitely stay here again. 5/5

All the resort fees are ridiculous especially the 4% surcharge on food and $30 per day parking. Outside of the property looks great but rooms are mediocre for the price. Paid for a King bed but got size Queen. Cheap looking furniture and decor. Pools are smaller than photos, crowded and dirty (murky water). Best thing about the property is the friendly and helpful staff.

The pool walk out rooms are really nice but this place is way overpriced. The food everywhere we went was horrible and again, WAY overpriced. Very blah and so greasy. Tia Carmen restaurant was terrible and $1000 for 6 of us, no alcohol and the food was trash. Beware, they even charge you to cut a mini cake. They said $5, but it was $5 per person.

Not very many food options. No restaurants nearby aside from the ones on property. Also EV cars- complimentary charging stations are available on first come first serve basis which was very hard because it’s the only charging station and the closest one is about a 15-20 min drive. But the room was amazing! The lazy river could use a little more organization as far as following rules-older kids were playing rough as little ones were swimming. And many just stood in the lazy river limiting the way down the river.

It was busy. Very overstimulating to be at the pool. Our room had dust all along the coffee nook shelves. Paint was peeling in the bathroom. So many dirty room service trays in the hallways. For the money we paid didn’t seem like we got what we paid for. I definitely would make it a point to not stay here again,.

I really enjoyed the resort. Highly recommend. Family friendly and relaxing. The villas are beautiful. Very clean, lots of space for a family of 5. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The pools were great. I do recommend to get to The Pools early if you want a good spot. the waterslide and lazy river seating goes fast due to limited seating. There is additional seating, but that is outside from the waterslides and lazy river. Overall 10 out of 10 experience, and I do highly recommend.
