"Happy Accomodation!"
Quirky layout of premises, with rooms upstairs through a separate main door next to pub. The bar downstairs (so handy for 'carry out'. lol). Terrific selection of wines and beers. The staff were welcoming and quick and happy to serve us, even opened a wee 'tab' for ease. Thanking James and Andy for looking after us. Our room (number 8) was tiptop, overlooking the main street (Lord Street) sat at table with tea on comfy chair in morning watching the Southport world go by! Twin beds with fresh bedding, flat screen TV, shower with two choices of height and styles. Excellent maid service every day ( we stayed 3 nights). Fresh towels and tea/coffee etc. One of the best and friendliest places we have stayed at and this being our first visit to Southport were so happy to have chosen it!

"Nice hotel"
Hotel was clean and central to the shops. Only 2 complaints, one was the noise at night, we were over an Irish bar and the noise kept us awake. Second was the pillows, they were hard and uncomfortable, will take my own next time.

"It wasn't awful but.."
We swapped rooms. It didn't smell like the first but wasn't clean. I sent my hubby out with the kids while I bought bleach and cleaned. It took so long he took the kids swimming too! I even cleaned the walls, windows and floor (which was filthy) and I was shattered, I also had to make all the beds. We knew we would be on the sofa bed so took our blow up mattress luckily and our room was now comfortable and warm with heaters on constantly. Half the pool was closed due to a chlorine problem and the kids told me they couldn't see the floor with their goggles under the water as it was foggy! The go karts which the kids were looking forward to using every day were 'closed due to wet track', the restaurant wasn't open whenever we tried to visit but the biggest let down was the 'NO WIFI' and to make it worse no service on our 3G devices- my eldest was devastated! We got a dance floor table ready for the evening but nothing happened until 8pm?! It was oddly bingo first which meant bored kids for way too long! It should be after the kids dances and include prize bingo so under 18s can play too! The competition time at the end was guests watching the blue coats compete (not the guests) and our kids were told to stop dancing and sit down to watch so we left. Anyway our kids had a good time overall and the poor standards there only bother adults. We had one full day out at Splash World and the pier which varied our stay and we enjoyed our 3 days, 2 nights overall.

Southport is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Southport, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Southport hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
