"Only real choice for a resort in the Northshore"
If you are looking for a full resort in the Northshore with numerous amenities, such as pool, restaurants, bar, etc. this is really the only choice for you. Without getting into detail this had everything we needed that the other 2 resorts lacked. It additionally has a couple areas of beach access. One of the beaches is protected from the oceans large waves so is perfect for the kids as well as one of the arguably best places in the Northshore to snorkel. Mind you, snorkeling in Hawaii is nice but you are not going to see the vibrancy that you will find in other parts of the world such as the Philippines, Thailand, etc as Hawaii has been ravaged by tourism throughout the years. If you want to see other parts of the Northshore, you can easily drive anywhere (west or east) for as long as an hour depending on what you want to see. For myself, the most driving I did back and forth was about 30 minutes max. Overall, great place to stay, friendly staff, and a nice and smooth vacation.

"Proximity to the airport"
The hotels proximity to the airport made it an ideal location. Parking is a bit of a hassle and it is difficult to find. GPS doesn't guide you directly to the hotel. Friends of mine who live in HI had difficult finding the hotel entrance when they were coming to meet me.

"Five-Star Anniversary Experience in West Waikiki"
In celebration of our 7th marriage anniversary, my wife and I spent two weeks exploring Maui, Kauai, and Honolulu. In Honolulu, we stayed at Waikiki Prince, which ended our trip on a five star note. The room is clean, tasteful, and has many neat gadgets including automatic rollershades and a TOTO bidet. We stayed in a standard room with two queen-sized beds covered by silky bamboo sheets. The wallpaper has a romantic Japanese-style texture and print. There is a large flat screen TV, AC, and modern safe. We particularly loved the renovated marble and tiled bathrooms. The shower and the toilet are enclosed behind two separate frosted glass doors. My wife was fond of the SimpleHuman makeup mirror. What makes the Prince stand out the most is their professional, friendly staff. They were always available to provide first class service. They can be reached through phone, internet or in person and are always quick to respond. We received a personalized anniversary note and gift from the Prince management and the maid always leaves Hawaii themed chocolate after the turndown service. The management at the Prince is professional and accommodating. We had a late night flight on our last day and they were able to accommodate extended hours for us in the room. We opted to have access to the more exclusive poolside club lounge. The club is a quiet hidden gem where you can have beer on tap and watch the sunset. There, you can find a hot breakfast, appetizers, and hot entree for dinner

"The Trump Int'l Waikiki is an EXCELLENT hotel!"
Forget your liberal friend's incessant belly aching about the election and anything "Trump". The Trump Int'l hotel in Waikiki was an awesome experience for the wife and I on our honeymoon. The very ethnically diverse staff treated all guests of all ethnicities with professionalism and catered to everyone's needs. The hotel is just a 2 min walk from the beach and is on the south end of two major streets full of restaurants on Lewers and Seaside. The hotel though has a small pool, which can be a good thing or a bad thing esp if you have a large family. The hotel also has its restaurants too, but we didn't patronize them. Our room was spotlessly cleaned twice a day w/ very little interruption to our time there. The room is ultra quiet and the sliding door blocks out all noise coming from the adjacent hotel's gigantic pool. We'll continue to patronize this hotel for as long as they provide this level of service and value

"We loved this hotel"
We knew we were going to love staying at this hotel from the moment we pulled up. The energy and vibe are so great. The hotel is really nice and the amenities are excellent! There are live musicians by the pool daily, there are plenty of shops on site, the location is amazing, there is a complementary trolley for exclusive use of guests of this hotel, Enterprise rent-a-car is right on site, I mean, the list just goes on and on. They even give you two pool towels per guest per day. I also love that there is a Starbucks in the lobby - huge plus for me. The only reason I'm not giving this a 5 star rating is that I didn't like having to rent a beach chair - very pricey. Either make the rental fee more affordable or waive it altogether. Also, the restaurants in this hotel are not amazing. The pool restaurant has good eats but very few healthy options. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again. Loved it.

"Really enjoyed our stay"
I had a very good experience at this hotel, it was clean, staff was awesome, good location.. ihop and coffee house next door where you get 10% off, 10% off at macys also. You get a free shuttle pass also.. beach is only a 10 min walk, very close to shops and other restraunts. Parking fee was ridiculous though ($25 a day) which is more than the daily resort fee ($18) .. and the parking garage is super freaking but you get used to it. Hotel didn't seem outdated to me like I read others thought.. we didn't bother going to the pool, looks very lame.. more for kids (only 4ft deep and very small). Overall I would come back here though

Haleiwa is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Haleiwa, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Haleiwa hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
