"Only real choice for a resort in the Northshore"
If you are looking for a full resort in the Northshore with numerous amenities, such as pool, restaurants, bar, etc. this is really the only choice for you. Without getting into detail this had everything we needed that the other 2 resorts lacked. It additionally has a couple areas of beach access. One of the beaches is protected from the oceans large waves so is perfect for the kids as well as one of the arguably best places in the Northshore to snorkel. Mind you, snorkeling in Hawaii is nice but you are not going to see the vibrancy that you will find in other parts of the world such as the Philippines, Thailand, etc as Hawaii has been ravaged by tourism throughout the years. If you want to see other parts of the Northshore, you can easily drive anywhere (west or east) for as long as an hour depending on what you want to see. For myself, the most driving I did back and forth was about 30 minutes max. Overall, great place to stay, friendly staff, and a nice and smooth vacation.

"Proximity to the airport"
The hotels proximity to the airport made it an ideal location. Parking is a bit of a hassle and it is difficult to find. GPS doesn't guide you directly to the hotel. Friends of mine who live in HI had difficult finding the hotel entrance when they were coming to meet me.

"Great hotel, great location"
The beach is right across the street! The staff was great. The rooms are well maintain, clean and beds are comfortable. The hotel has a restaurant inside with very good food, also McDonald's is within walking distance. Also the Polynesian cultural center is right beside the hotel, they have restaurant, food trucks, shopping....staying at north shore is well worth to beat the tourist craziness in Waikiki....definitely coming back!

"Good location if overnighting in Honolulu"
My sister and I stayed at this hotel when en route to New Zealand. The hotel is basic but clean and tidy. Staff were very obliging and the availability of a free shuttle to and from the airport was great. The hotel is in a commercial area but if you want a safe, tidy and reasonably priced overnight stay this hotel works well. There is a nice pool and a mix of loungers and tables and chairs around the pool where you can relax. There is also a Chinese Food restaurant within the hotel and when we used it it was well patronised by locals living in the area. The food was very good and reasonably priced.

"Appealing and close "
My family and I arrived for a graduation. The staff was very nice and helpful and the facility was nice and clean. This location allowed us to be close to family and was not over crowded , unlike being down in Waikiki. This location allowed us to be able to get up and go with the family.

"Shoebox Room - Spend Extra and book the Ocean View"
I booked a "Room with View" expecting it to be a partial ocean or partial pool view because I did not book the "Mountain View" - I was placed in a room on the back side of the property overlooking the staff car park and was told they could not allocate any other room. It was really awful to be woken by the groundsmen using high powered leaf blowers at 6am each morning on my 4 day vacation celebrating my Mums 60th Birthday. While the housekeeping staff had done a great job keeping the room pristine and looked after little details that made the room tolerable - the size was pretty frightening - two adults in the room was bordering on uncomfortable. In addition upon arrival I was "gifted" a renters VIP package from the hotel. What the hotel fails to mention is that this is a dedicated time-share property so while "receiving my renters VIP package" I lost almost an hour of my first day listening to the hard-sell diatribe of a Time-Share Salesman, all under the guise of "gifting" us discount vouchers for the local cafes and stores. In summary - the room was awful but thankfully the grounds are gorgeous and the restaurant 'Longhis' (which is not affiliated with Marriot) had a very reasonably priced and delicious menu. The hotel staff were at both ends of the spectrum; some helpful, some obstinately NOT helpful.

"Party in the jungle"
Huge apartment style space with kitchen and dim-sum style dining table. Lots of jungle with roosters and chickens running around everywhere, their cawing is a little loud during the night. Since some of the panels in the louvered windows are missing, noise from the neighbors music Friday night comes in if you stay on the upper floor. All amenities in the space are great, we didn't use the washing machine but they have one; even an ironing board.

Waialua is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Waialua, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Waialua hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
