The building was beautiful and our room was good, the bed very comfortable. B We only stayed one night but the food was disappointing. We met friends who had stayed for a few nights and they felt the same. That’s the only thing that lets it down really

The photos make this property look very bougie but this is not quite the case. The room was very clean but the door was very stiff on opening and we noticed the piece of wood the fire lever lock was attached to had come away from the wall. Hole in duvet cover, and the mattress is the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on, obviously very old as it sunk towards the middle, also pillows not great. The bathroom fan wasn’t working properly and made an awful noise as did the toilet when flushed. I won’t be rushing back for a second stay!

Amazing B&B, super themed rooms in historical building. Very well fitted with interesting pizza restaurant & bakery serving continental breakfast. The no reception or staff members works really well. Situated in the very pretty Market Square where we parked without any problem. Highly recommend. Great experience.

Great location and comfortable room. Lacked the customary water kettle or coffee maker. Historic hotel but room is generic.
