Overall a big hotel in Portland, but restroom is really small compares to the size of the hotel and room (make me feel like I'm in Tokyo or Asia). Hotel staff in the lobby is very friendly, room is clean but bed is not so comfortable and makes sounds whenever I move.
Room does not have shampoo and shower gel the first night I stayed but they gave me 1 bottle of water as VIP member. 2nd day they will not give me any water when I asked for it and asked me to get it from the mini frig, kind of weird.
For this price I think the hotel is acceptable since the location is great and price is at least 1/2 of others.

We booked two rooms for a relative's surprise birthday party. We wanted the rooms to be adjoining, which they said the could accommodate but didn't. The rooms were on the same hallway. It's a big hotel that's been added on. Musty smell in the hallway but the rooms were pleasant if slightly outdated. We wanted a river view but got the courtyard instead, which was fine and quiet. It's close to shopping and a river trail which we enjoyed.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was with the breakfast...not much variety. However, what was there was fine . We will stay there on our next visit to Salem Oregon.
