"Great to Just Stay in our Room"
The view is so lovely from every room in this hotel. We enjoyed watching ships pass by, and the sunsets were amazing! Breakfast with fresh fruit and pastries along with good coffee and various other offerings was satisfying. Cocktail hour each night with wine and appetizers was congenial. The spa has many offerings along with a sauna and hot tub. Thus, although we found many enjoyable things to do in Astoria, we also spent hours enjoying our room.

"Historic hotel in downtown Astoria"
This hotel is historic but that doesn't mean it's archaic. It's modern and up-to-date with a fabulous staff and amenities. It's walking distance to dining and the waterfront. The Hotel Elliott really is lovely and worth the price.

"Nice hotel staff and very good service"
Very friendly and nice hotel staff. Very good service and good breakfast. But, there is not the air conditioner in the room; the hotel provides a portable fan instead. We had to open the back sliding door for more cool air at night (lucky for us: no mosquitoes). Anyway, very nice, clean and neat room. Thank you so much the hotel staff for the very friendly and nice service.

"Nice hotel, close to the strip & beach"
Seaside is definitely a tourist trap, don't go there if you don't want to spend money. We've been there a few times and it's nice, the beach is very long, good for hanging out, fire pits, ideal for learning to skim board given the gentle slope, not good waves though for surfing / boogie boarding. There's plenty of restaurants, shops & tourist traps along the strip, very kind friendly place. The evenings can get chilly and there's always a breeze, so take some warm clothes too. Far as hotels go, what set this hotel apart from others we stayed at was all the amenities it had. Granted we didn't take advantage of many of it as our kids are older and we mostly we were out on the strip or at the beach, but if you have younger kids there is quite a bit to keep kids entertained. A game room with ping pong, foosball & table shuffleboard, a free DVD / BR library, in the back they have tables & fire pits, along with a playground for young kids, and about a half dozen or so bikes in the front that are free & first come first serve. And of course an in door pool / Jacuzzi, and work out room. Only shortcomings was the included breakfast was a bit lacking, but lets face it, free hotel breakfasts are rarely great.

"Enjoyed the extra space!"
We had a two bedroom suite - 2 separate bedrooms each containing a queen bed. Plus, there was a queen in the living area as well as a sleeper sofa. The furnishings were "well loved", but comfortable. The towels were a nice thickness. Two blocks from the beach, across the street from the convention center, and two blocks from "downtown". Nice location.

"Perfect location for a nice family stay at the bea"
We stayed for a couple of days with our children and grandchildren and we had a really nice visit. With our own kitchens and laundry we could deal with everyday life and were still close to the ocean and sights and fun for the kids. the view was wonderful and it was so peaceful by the river.

Astoria is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Astoria, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Astoria hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
