We stayed in a two bedroom unit beside the pool and enjoyed the unit, location close to other restaurants, airport, hire car facilities, etc. Staff were always friendly and tried to help, however quite a few things to work on and improve if really wanting to be consider in the higher quality resorts.

It has been such a great pleasure to spend a day in this boutique hotel. The room is clean and tidy. You could feel that the hotel has a variety of delicate details including the unique cups. The hotel is next to the beach, which means that you could always get tanned with the ocean view.
Michel is really nice and gave us a range of useful advices. It is worth mentioning that I accidentally left my glasses in the room. Michel kindly posted it back for free to my address in Australia. The glasses were well wrapped and protected with a few boxes to make sure it arrives safely. I appreciate this from the bottom of my heart.
During my stay in the hotel, I do enjoy the meal onsite. The resort has very nice barbecue kebabs including seafood, meat and vegetables. It is great to enjoy crafted beer and tasty meal next to the ocean with the view of sunset.
Overall, it has been a very pleasant experience to stay in this place, and I would like to highly recommend this hotel to any friends and relatives.

We were met by Eve & Brent at the airport and from the word go their hospitality as Hoteliers were impeccable. A lot of personal touches were incorporated into their service, nothing was too much bother.

We arrived mid afternoon, picked up our car at the airport and went to the motel. Nobody home. Did a circle island trip and went back at 4. Still nobody. Found out that the owner lived across the road so I went to see him. Apparently our booking hadn't come through. He came over, upgraded us to two beachfront units, apologised profusely, got us all sorted out, and we started the holiday. No stress!
From then on, we simply got on with our holiday. There were four of us, me, my son, his partner and 5 year old son. We spent plenty of time in the water, and did lots of other island stuff during the day. The beach was superb and pretty quiet. We were in fact the only guests, it being the low season (early January).
The Reef isn't a five star establishment or a resort, but it's got all you need to enjoy your holiday. Don't go there if you get stressed by things that aren't pristinely clean or lack of airconditioning.

On the Western edge of the island of Rarotonga in the Cook Islands, Arorangi is a paradise of white sand beaches. Accessible to the ancient Polynesian road which encircles the island, Arorangi is also a good starting point for exploration of the island's rugged interior. Both the faithful and curious flock to the area's historic coral churches.
