Stayed with family, loved the room, comfy beds. Stayed in the family room. Kids didn’t like sleeping on the top bunks, so parents had to! Beds were lovely and comfy. Food was lovely. Staff really friendly and helpful. Lovely amenities.

Perfect all in all

The staff/place was lovely. Although we booked evening meal. We had a drink in the garden beforehand. The chef went home. So no supper. Thought someone would have come to inform us that kitchen would close soon The macerator was noisy but bearable for short stay. Breakfast lovely . Helen

I enjoyed the more tranquil neighborhood of Clifton Village over the city center and it made for a peaceful and quiet stay. The views from the restaurants is spectacular and I loved having easy access to the suspension bridge and observatory. But the hotel itself is a bit worn. The Deluxe Gorge Vista Room that I had was quite compact. The wardrobe and furniture are in need of an update. Throughout the hotel the carpeting is stained and tired. The hallways were very narrow and dark, making them difficult to navigate with luggage. As I was checking in, I heard another guest complaining about dampness in their room. Breakfast was disappointing - at £42, I had expected more variety. And the “nearby” gym was a 20 minute walk. For the price I paid I presumed that the hotel had been remodeled. It did not feel like the luxury hotel that I anticipated. I would return to their bar and spectacular view, but would probably not stay again.

Great hotel perfect location. Parking is very limited I would say is the old down side.

Hotel is room was fair, however there were makeup stain on the dress gowns. Reception staff could have been better, as they weren't very helpful when we asked for directions to the hotel restaurant. The domestic staff- lady was very helpful & show is the staircase to get to it, when got a little lost.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Incredible pool, gym and spa. Great food, absolutely delicious. Only downfall was the rooms were hot and small.
