The first picture of this hotel is true! Can't believe it until we check in. With beach just outside of the house, you can enjoy the ocean front at day and night. The room is big and very clean. I especially like its Loccitane shampoo, conditioner and body wash! The bed is very soft and paid breakfast is good.
The only thing needs to take care is that their bathtub and shower cubicle are a bit slippery. Also, remember to get the paper receipt when you check out - I asked for an email one however never received it.

Really had a nice check in person. The check out person alerted us to tickets for the Monterrey Bay Aquarium. We purchased them and walked right in and no line to buy. Really made our experience super. Very clean hotel. A little dated but really nice. Super staff.

The rooms are big and newly remodeled. The beds are pretty hard but that was ok with me. It has a decent continental breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's not too far from Monterey attractions.

Nice hotel, but when you have a 3 story hotel you must clearly divulge that there is no elevator or staff to assist you to your 3rd floor climb. I have knee problems & was with senior citizens. We almost left. Instead, we had a difficult stay because of the stairs. We would stay here again only with guarantee of ground floor room.

The Pacific Ocean, a small airport, and California State University at Monterey Bay border this community just north of Monterey. Marina Dunes State Beach is popular for hang gliding, sunbathing, kite-flying, and hiking over 70-foot sand dunes. Fishing and pleasure craft dot the harbor. Marina Dunes Preserve, just north of the beach, offers beaches and dunes reclaimed from a former sand mine.
