Rooms doe not have microwave. Floor was dirty so take sandals. Rooms felt humid, and the air conditioner was not working well made a loud noise.

Reasonable rate in Carmel area but the room has old smell and you can hear your neighbors talking, flushing, and walking. Couldn’t sleep.

Monterey Beach Hotel, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel
We’ll be staying here whenever we’re in Monterey from now on. The hotel was in great shape, right on the beach, and had an attached full restaurant and bar. Staff were all super nice. It’s an extra 10 minutes to drive to the aquarium or golf courses, but well worth it for the price.

The room was pleasantly nice. I didn't know what to expect exactly from a Motel 6. Nice big beds, good rest, 3 people with 2 large beds. Clean and good deal in 2026 for about $90 per night. Free coffee in the morning in the office.
