This is a lovely and charming hotel. The location is excellent and convenient, within walking distance to the downtown shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good. Overall it’s a wonderful place to stay!

Lovely option in the heart of Carmel. Special thanks to the front desk staff who provided a fan (rooms don’t have air conditioning and no screen on sliding glass door). Breakfast was good with plenty of options for all appetites (don’t leave food unattended on outdoor tables or the seagulls will eat it!). Grounds are well decorated with colorful flowers and plants. There’s a heated pool and plenty of on site parking.

We were delighted with our stay. The facility was so clean, breakfast was nice. Coffee was great! Service was exceptional! We had a little trouble with the lock on our door and they were on it immediately. One of our partoed did wish there was an extra mirror in their room other than just in the bathroom. Nice to not have to share a mirror to do makeup. There was an extra mirror on the door in our room, so it was perfect. And the balcony, oh my gosh, we spent so much time out there. The view was spectacular!

My room was super clean in a quiet neighborhood. I loved the ambience of the fireplace! The daily hot breakfast was wonderful and more than I expected .I was able to park the car in their lot and walked to all the shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!

Very clean property and friendly front desk. Our 5th floor room had a sliding glass door to a balcony and view of the bay. Good location with the Outdoor mall, and Ocean Avenue shops two blocks away and Brunos market next door. On Thursdays mornings the farmers market is across the street. The ocean is a 10-15 walk down Ocean Ave and the Normandy and Lamp

Can’t beat the location

Great location. Walking distance to everything. Nice rooms. Clean. Friendly staff. Only cons were, like most places in Carmel, there is no ac and the walls are very thin. The room gets very warm if the weather is warm. You can open the windows but you will hear everything from the parking lot. You can hear everyone’s water running, doors slamming, and loud talking. The pros far out weigh the cons and I’d definitely stay here again. Cooler times of year and bring ear plugs

The room was nice and spacious. The staff were friendly. Parking was easy. Only downside for me was the noise. People walking past with cases or the cleaning trolly. The walls were very thin and could hear everything. For this reason i wouldnt stay again.

Great Location

It was a great location. In walking distance to all of the shops in Carmel. Nice room and very "homey". The breakfast was not very good though.
