"Close to beach"
Spent 5 nights in May 2016, Hotel is nicely situated a block from the beach, and walking distance to many restaurants, pharmacies, small shops, etc. Is not new, but is very clean, breakfast is fine, with fruits, cereals, ham eggs, cheese, bread, desserts..
Personnel was very nice and helpful with directions, recommendations, to help you in the breakfast area and to serve you drinks in the improvised bar in the afternoons.
Only BUT is the bar around the corner, as it becomes loud late at night, I was in 6th floor and the noise level was high, but if you come to Rio you really do not go to bed that early... I was tired enough to be able to sleep even with some noise.
They have a little gym, sauna, little pool, that looked clean enough to be used.
Was glad and happy to choose this Hotel, I could go back there, but am thinking that next time I will try other one closer to Copacabana, for this one, you need to walk at least 20 minutes to reach Copacabana, which is not that bad.
