"Easy access to the airport"
We stayed here our last night in Lisbon because we had an early morning flight. Everything in the hotel seems newly renovated. We switched rooms after a few minutes because the first room didn't have a hotel safe installed yet, so we got to see 2 room types. Rooms are slightly small by American standards, average by European standards, but comfortable enough for one or two people for an overnight stay, and equipped with a desk, chair, closet, suitcase stand, wifi. There are now dividers and curtains for bathroom privacy--I had read reviews that this had been an issue under the previous ownership. Staff was courteous and thoughtful, if not super fast and efficient. (Slow at check-in, room change, but as nice as can be.) Breakfast was complete and beautifully set, with fruits, meats, eggs, pastries, etc. in a very sleek dining room, much nicer than breakfasts at comparably priced hotels in the states. The bar area was attractive as well, but we didn't have time to try it. There's a hotel shuttle to the airport every 20 minutes, but we just walked because it was so easy, probably less than 2 blocks and not on an expressway, more like a landscaped, tree-lined street in a downtown area. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for one or two night stays, especially for early morning weekday flights out, or late arrivals.
