"Nice and worth to stay "
We stayed in this nice hotel for 4 nights. Great location to many attractions; near to the blue mosque, hagia sophia & topkapi. The tram line is also short walk from the hotel. Those who are able to walk further, grand bazaar is about 20 min walk. Surrounded by shops & eateries. The hotel's staff were very helpful and polite. We really had a good time stay in this hotel.

"First class facility with excellent service"
We stayed at the presidential suite which was well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The hotel has several restaurants, a bar and a bakery. The food is good if not spectacular. The french restaurant however disappointed. The food was uninspiring and overpriced. However the service of the very friendly an attentive staff was excellent. The breakfast buffet is a good choice. A good variety of offerings in a lovely presentation. The bread could be better though. The pool and spa are small but sufficient and very clean, In particular the power stream allows for an aggressive swimming work out. Over all the hotel is historic but well preserved and upgraded with a wonderful atmosphere. It is conveniently located in the Gallata district near the tower and allows for easy access to all the major sightd. Al in all a most delightful stay.

"Weekend/Midweek break to Istanbul"
Hotel is in the heart of the old city, literally a 2 minute walk from the Blue Mosque. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around the hotel. An uber ride across the bridge into Taksim was about 20 minutes at less than $10. Hotel is nice enough and there is a great breakfast across the street at the sister property.

"Location,staff,and services first class."
Had a great time in Istanbul , plenty of nice and helpful people .Some pushy vendors but all and all a country with proud population who respect religions and customs of others. Food little boring , breads of higher quality. I wanted to eat native food and got impressed by a "eat and leave" restaurant: Balkan not far from the spice market.Stay in line and have a double ishkembe and an artichoke in lemon sauce. The fish on Galata bridge was older than I and on displays some were from plastic. I wonder who will have that one? And do not lift the shoe shine brush that happens to hit the side walk as you cross the path with A pro shiner.

Excellent location just within walking distance to everything. The Blue mosque is right across the street from us. The breakfast served is very reasonably priced and delicious. When we arrived to the hotel, we were welcomed with traditional Turkish tea and cake at the lobby and when we left, we were handed out boxes of Turkish delight, one for each room.

Istanbul is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Istanbul, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Istanbul hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.

While many of the most visited sightseeing attractions reside on the European side of Istanbul, including the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofya, and Topkapi Palace, the more residential Asian (or Anatolian) side also has its own unique charms. Be sure to explore the beauty of both sides to make your trip to Istanbul complete.

From the Blue Mosque to the Grand Bazaar

One of Istanbul's nicknames is the 'the city on seven hills.' Like Rome, the Istanbul of antiquity was built on seven hills, each with religious monuments, in both the Byzantine and Ottoman periods.

Today you will still find many stunning sights on these hills. Topkapi Palace was the former royal residence of the Ottoman sultans. Set by the sea and overlooking the Golden Horn, today's Topkapi Palace is open to the public as a museum, with four primary courtyards and a wealth of treasures. Wander through leafy gardens and airy libraries, an imperial harem, and impressive gilded pavilions.

Head for another hill and the Grand Bazaar awaits you. One of the largest covered markets in the world, featuring more than 6,000 stalls, the Grand Bazaar is a mecca for shoppers. Jewelry, spices, carpets, and pottery combine to create a seemingly endless range of tempting items. Test your bargaining skills or just enjoy a stroll around the structure itself, which seems almost like a palace.

Side by side are two other must-see Istanbul sights. The beautiful mosaics and massive dome of the 1400-year old Aya Sofya leave visitors mesmerized. Equally extravagant is the working Blue Mosque whose six slender minarets are one of the most famous components of Istanbul's skyline.

    Illuminated Istanbul

Istanbul is one of the oldest cities in the world and with such a long and rich legacy it would be easy to tour only the city's historical wonders. However, present-day Istanbul is one of the most vibrant, sophisticated, and cosmopolitan places on earth and no visit would be complete without experiencing what the modern city has to offer. An evening out could include cuisine from all corners of the world (though be sure to try the sumptuous mezzes and kebabs), cocktails at an elegant bar on the Bosphorus, and clubbing until dawn. Istanbul at night is a beautiful sight.

Take some time for leisure, too, like a traditional Turkish bath or a cruise down the Bosphorus Strait. One visit to Istanbul could never suffice and how could it? There are two continents to explore! So slow down and sip some fragrant mint tea, while you plan your return visit. Hide
