The hotel is very convenient to the highway and yet very quiet. It is sparkling new from top to bottom. Unfortunately, the mattress had a depression in it which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. Also, at least in this handicapped room, the bathroom had a design flaw. The sink and mirror have no light in close proximity, leaving one in the dark when trying to shave or clean up at the sink.

Great location in historic Savannah. Easy walk to beautiful neighborhoods, parks and restaurants. The hotel has a fun, hip vibe and the staff were very pleasant. But the room was in disrepair and there wasn't much attention to detail by the staff. The room wasn't carefully stocked (ie. no toilet paper or soap; had to ask for it).
I would stay here again, and I would recommend it as a place to stay. Just don't expect a 5 star experience. It was perfectly adequate and pleasant with a great location and a nice staff.

Lovely room looking on to square. Glad our room was not on the noisy streetside looking on to the parking garage. Breakfast room rather stark and gloomy in contrast with the rest of the hotel. Breakfasts lacked variety. Powdered scrambled egg not good! No bar or restaurant so cheese and wine provided each evening. Nice touch. Good wine, tasteless cheese. Helpful staff. Very comfy bed. Overall an enjoyable stay with everything within walking distance.

I really liked this place. It felt like you were really living in a historical time period for a few days. The bed was very comfortable and sheets/ bedding were soft. The staff was exceptional- they were very kind and accommodating. Great place for those looking for more than your typical hotel.

Great river views, very charming. I have stayed here before, and will stay again. I booked through Expedia this time, and although the listing says they have a continental breakfast, they do not. Nice restaurant downstairs, cool rooftop bar, but no breakfast. There are options nearby, though.

A small, though rapidly growing town in the Hilton Head Island-Beaufort area, Hardeeville is bordered by the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge. This large nature preserve is on both the South Carolina and Georgia sides of the Savannah River.
