Weekend trip to Savannah

We stayed in this hotel for an overnight stay to Savannah. We arrived before checkout so we had to wait for our room. We were offered free drink tokens. The staff was very friendly. Overall the room was nice but I feel it was slightly over priced for the size of the room and being right on the road. Very loud!.

We arrived at 415. Parking was limited. There were no luggage racks; only 6 for the Hotel. We had to do Valet parking at 48.00 overnight; not represented on website. Therefore we waited over 30 minutes and could not take on everything we wanted to and felt rushed.

Location is perfect. Unfortunately there is a terrible carpet freshener odor that you can’t escape. We also found a roach in our room and when we asked to switch rooms the only other option we were given was the room next door and $27 off our stay. Wouldn’t go back.

We have stayed at this property 3 times and every time the staff has not been welcoming. The property itself is beautiful and is walking distance to shopping and restaurants. This time the room we were given had a problem with the refrigerator and this resulted in a glass bottle exploding inside. I would have cleaned it myself, but I had nothing to clean up glass. We called the front desk to report this happening and we were told that we must have had the temp down to low. So this is our fault that the fridge was just too cold. Well they sent someone to help us, who told us that the knob was missing and there was no way to control the temperature. He tried to turn the temperature back up himself, but that they would replace this refrigerator the next day. I checked out 3 days later and no fridge. Not a big deal, but after the experience at my check in and being blamed for a faulty refrigerator I can honestly say I will never stay at this property again. I go on vacation to enjoy myself, not tiptoe around the staff, so I don’t upset them.

Great weekend get away for my daughter and myself

Check in was just ok. We got in early so we were able to drop our bags and go. The one front desk check in person seemed flustered and we waited quite awhile. Location is perfect and walkable. One block off of River Street. Lots of shopping and eating readily available.
