We booked this hotel on short notice during a "follow your nose" trip around southeastern Germany. The staff was friendly, the bed comfortable and the environment quite, which are the most important characteristics for me. Unfortunately, it was a muggy night and the air conditioner was blowing warm air, despite the thermostat's having been set at about 10 deg. C before our arrival. The warm, humid conditions made it a bit hard to sleep.

I was a bit concerned, when I saw how close it was to the Airport, but was surprised at how quiet it was. The staff were very helpful. Another plus was the shuttle bus they run every 1/2 hr. It is free from the Terminal to the hotel but 4 euros for the return. I stayed there twice. Once overnight and the earlier time for a few hrs, as there was a sudden airline strike and we had to leave the night before. I would definitely stay there again.

Germany's largest airport is 12 kilometres from Frankfurt city centre and an important European hub for international flights (a plane takes off or lands every two minutes). The two terminals are connected by shuttles and divided into concourses with 24-hour shops and restaurants. S-Bahn trains connect the airport to Frankfurt main station; long distance train services run to Cologne and southern Germany.
