Excellent location, high quality, dog friendly hotel with great dining facilities.
Nice extra touches were the pantries, boot cleaners after muddy walks, and outside fire pits for cooler evenings.

Provided with dirty towels, room wasn't clean, bath had brown flakes in it and a scab. Bathroom had several bits of dirt and lack of a clean evident, with what looked like sick/poo remnants on the wall/tiles. Missing screws from fixings. Blinds broken. Bed wasn't cleaned the best either. Could hear everything going on around the hotel with doors constantly being slammed, which would start from 5/6am up until midnight. Hotel was contactless so couldn't speak to anyone about the issues, left feeling worse than I arrived and never wanting to stay again. Appalling value for the money. Took pictures to show friends because of how bad it was. Literally couldn't wait to leave
