Courtyard by Marriott Edgewater NYC Area

3 Pembroke Place, Edgewater - Map
This hotel was everything you would want, so close too restaurants, supermarkets and transportation to NYC, ETC... We had a car which we didn't use really, only to go to Walmart, aldi which was all in the same place about 2 miles away from the hotel. The hotel had a complimentary shuttle which took us to the ferry terminal to go to nyc (£9 each for adults, kids go free; my kids 5 & 10) and then you get on one of the complimentary buses too Times Square or near Central Park. There was also bus stop across the road to take u in the city at times square(port authority bus terminal) bus no. 158 which cost £20 round trip which believe me is the cheapest way, buses ran till early hours of the morning. How to get back was quite easy as well but you have to get your ticket before you get on the bus on WAY BACK or just get a round trip on the way there, which u can pay by cash.I would not recommend going by car way too expensive and very stressful, £15 toll just to go through the Lincoln tunnel and then parking £25 average parking for the day. There was a target supermarket about half mile away and a McDonald's, Outback Steakhouse etc.. I basically went on google maps and got directions and too see what was around and directions. The view from NJ was amazing, the skyline WOW!!! We had a partial view off the city from the hotel, but if you drove 2 miles down u can some amazing views. If you wanted a walk along the Hudson River, there was a walk and very safe.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
