Me and my husband traveled with 3 other couples. 6 Of the 8 of us were in the Jamaican building. That building desperately needs to be repaired or torn down. The elevator did not work. No iron and the safe did not work in another room and the patio door in one room would not open. I AM REQUESTING A PARTIAL REFUND ($500). Me and my husband (ages 68 and 70) had to carry heavy luggage to and from our room on the 2nd floor in addition to having to endure the terrible exterior of the Jamaican building. We had to slam the entrance door to close it and the lock would not fully engage--we placed a chair behind the door before going to bed at night. WE WERE DISAPPOINTED. One couple stayed in the Dominican building. Even though only one elevator seemed to be working. The condition of their suite was "good."

Beds were clean thabk goodness . The room smells like a fratt house ,the stinch of beer cover the room . The housekeeping before we checked in was changing the bed ,sweeping the floor. You could tell no mop was used and no cleaning products either. The water from the tap smells horrible . The lazy river and pool floors looked stained .. making the water look like urine no chlorine smell at all . Definitely need to upgrade pools appearance and take old carpet out of the rooms. Elevators are hot ,muggy and stink. Lobby was nice and fancy and people at guest services was great. Im sure its an employee issue . Good help is hard to find. For the price I expected a lot more.

We liked the pool area and the acess to the beach, we had an issue with the toilet back flowing out and flooding in to our bed room, had to wait for the next day for maintenence to fix the issue after the manager was contacted since the first maintenence guy didnt do anything but clean up the mess and go. Other then that it was a great place, busy elevators and ya have to be quick because the doors shut fast.

My family and I stayed for almost a week and over all was pretty nice. Each room should at least have a broom to sweep up all the sand that gets brought into the rooms. But overall the rooms were nice. The pools were kept clean. We did have an issue with one hotel employee telling my father to stop taking pictures of his grandkids at the pool, took that up with management and they handled it quick and professionally. We will definitely book again at this resort in the future.

Kids loved it only issue is the gym TV was missing and the gym allows kids in the gym which should be a big no no as kids were running in and out banging equipment and playing in it like it was a playground
