We were in the cities for a sad reason. My husband's brother died suddenly, unexpectedly. We were to leave on a cruise, but immediately changed plans and drove from Austin, Texas to Minnesota. We booked the hotel for six nights. One daughter and her husband flew from Houston to join us and stayed two nights. Another of my husband's brothers and his wife joined us for two nights. A second daughter tried to book at the same hotel but it was filled.
The place was quiet, mostly, even though filled with teenagers in the cities for a hockey state tournament and many people in town for a concert. We sat together some evenings in the quiet dining area to visit.
The only minor complaint I would mention is that bathtub was very slippery and I really appreciate the grab bar, but found that if I put a small bath towel on the bottom of the tub during my showers, it helped.
On the next to last day, the coffee pot gave up, but we used it so much that we went out and bought our own supply of Kuerig cups for it. Maybe we just wore it out, but we really appreciated having it in the room, as well as the microwave and refrigerator.

The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and we loved that you could get coffee and hot chocolate all day in the lobby after breakfast was done. The only change I could recommend is a real blanket on the bed! It felt like we were just sleeping between two sheets.
