"Wow!"
We finally decided to splurge and stay at Fitger's after many times considering it. We had the whirlpool suite and it was amazing!!!!! The staff greeted us at the door, helped with our luggage and parked our truck for us. We walked into our room and I was so excited! It was BEAUTIFUL! I was disappointed we didn't have a room that faced the lake, but I never even thought about it once we walked in ours. The room was huge, the whirlpool was fantastic, the bed was so comfortable. For a building that is so old, it is very well taken care of and clean! Very, very pleased with it! We stayed during Bockfest so there was plenty to do on site. It was a lot of fun to visit with everyone and join in on the festivities. We had 3 different options for food and we tried everyone of them. The service at all restaurants was very good, staff were very friendly and made the experience that much more enjoyable! We only left the hotel once and that was to walk down the lakewalk in the morning.

"Brand new and well appointed"
This brand-new and well appointed hotel is excellent for families or business travel. My king-size room with mini fridge and microwave was a large left to unpack, suits, and get work done. The workout space has plenty of equipment and is easy to use and access. Breakfast is very well laid out although call you the food is excellent, if you don't have to eat there, you probably won't want to. Staff were excellent, although I staff were excellent, although I was on hold for about five minutes to call down ask questions of the front desk. Because this hotel was entirely immaculate, I was surprised to find a pile of towels on the second floor in the bathroom in the workout room and pool area. A great value, brand-new and clean, I recommend this hotel.

"Hotel near Miller Hill Mall."
Overall our hotel stay was very pleasant. We were looking for a cheap option to visit Duluth for shopping and exploration of the surrounding areas. The room was spacious, with a couch (pulled out into a bed), chair, desk/chair, and king size bed. We hadn't planned to spend a ton of time in the hotel, however we were pleased with the comfort the room offered while we were there. The biggest bonus for us, was the free breakfast offered. This allowed us to use a little more of our budgeted money on shopping/other attractions! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially when we had a problem with our door keys on day 2. The only complaint I had from the whole stay was the quality and age of the pillows. It honestly felt like sleeping on a bag filled with popcorn. After one night sleeping on them, we went to the store and purchased new pillows to use for the remaining duration of our trip!

"Decent"
I didn't regret my $90. Good location and decent rooms! Only complaint is that it was a little dusty and the AC unit didn't have a filter in it, which sucked but I would stay again for a night or two, for sure. (:

"Good hotel close to downtown"
Easy, fast check in. Hotel is within 10 minutes of downtown, located in a business district. A Perkins is across the street and a gas station not much further. Minimal traffic and quiet. I did not hear any noise from rooms around me. Comfortable bed, nice pillows. I would stay here first instead or paying the hotel prices downtown and use the extra money to be a tourist. The only drawback for me was the room lacked a refrigerator.

Duluth is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Duluth, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Duluth hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
