"Nice hotel close to shopping and restaurants"
The hotel was conveniently located near restaurants and Miller Hill Mall. The hotel is new, room was clean and staff was friendly. We were disappointed the pool was a bit small. When booking the room, the description said it would accommodate 5 guests, however the room they gave us had only 2 queen beds and no extra pull out sofa.

I forgot to pack a necktie for my husband and when I asked at the desk where the nearest store was to purchase one, I was informed that they had some right at the desk for sale. I paid less than I had expected to for a tie that actually went with my purple dress and never had to go anywhere. They had free valet service and great shopping right in the complex. I would definitely go there again.

Park Point Marina Inn

1033 Minnesota Ave, Duluth - Map
"Nice Hotel on Park Point in Duluth"
Everything at the hotel was great. The free breakfast was pretty good, but quality of food was usual for free food, and could have been better. Hotel is only 2.5 years old and in very good condition. Staff was professional and courteous. Park Point is on the far side of the Duluth Lift Bridge, so it's walkable to Canal Park and Downtown. However, Canal Park hotels are in a bit better location with better view of Lake Superior and on boardwalk. This hotel is on the Superior Bay, not on the main lake shore. Room rates were reasonable and less than Canal Park rates. Overall, and excellent value for the money.

Awesome experience. We had a double queen room with bunk beds for the kids. It is definitely our most favorite room! Staff was awesome, always helpful with our questions and they upgraded our room for free. The complimentary cab service was also awesome as well as we were able to go out for drinks and dinner without having to worry about driving. The kids loved the water park. Highly recommend this to other family's too.

The Suites Hotel at Waterfront Plaza

325 Lake Avenue S., Duluth - Map
"It's an apt. really, not a hotel."
Industrial lay out, which I liked, and not the typical Comfort Inn experience. The ceiling being high is pleasing and lends an open air feeling to the room. It is much larger than a typical motel/hotel cubicle, with long hallways. Parking is across the street in the parking lot and okay. The housekeeping in the room was at least average to above average, and the room (suite) includes all the features of a one room apartment. You won't feel as though you are in a hotel, but an apt building, which, in part, you are as there are private residences within. I selected the dreaded interior room with no windows, but did not care at all since the room was big enough that I did not feel at all locked in. At least it was insulated from street noise. The room rate was a good value and I would return and try a window room to compare to others in the area. It is very convenient to the DECC and Canal Park sites and a viable alternative to the name-brand others in the area. My only negative comment is that the smells in the hallway were not pleasant. I am unable to ID what it was, but it made an otherwise positive visit go down one star. Perhaps some Fabreeze??

Duluth is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Duluth, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Duluth hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
