My family and I had a wonderful stay, it was better than expected despite the reviews. My only issue was house keeping, never cleaned thoroughly and did not restock on a regular. Staff was very nice however our first breakfast at the Reef we were not made aware of how the buffet work which could have saved us money for other things. Nonetheless, we are going back and oh we worked booked in the Atrium view room by skate rank. Before I went read a review about room being cold, well it had nothing to do with the rank, we turned the air down so it was comfortable.I

Very nice staff! Prompt whenever we needed towels or coffee brought to the room. The sand was swept up in the room daily and trash was emptied but after we looked closer we noticed that tables and countertops were never wiped down nor was the tile floor or bath tub. The building itself just needs a facelift but the convenience to the beach was nice.

"Hotel has a great location; close to everything."
Our vacation was the week before Memorial Day so the outside pool was not ready. That was somewhat of a disappointment, but then so was the weather so I do not know how much we would have used it anyway.

We had the club floor which was great however the staff there was not friendly and seemed mad if you asked them for something. Not too much variety. We are at the library very basic food, took the shuttle to the marina restaurant very good. Too much money but a great place

My stomach was upset before I went to bed (ate something that didn't agree with me). The buffet area was officially closed. I spoke with a person I saw through the door. He pleasantly offered me hot tea (and other home remedy ideas/suggestions that may help). I drank the hot tea and had a good night's sleep. I saw the gentleman that morning and thanked him very much for the hot tea. To me, that is the idea of customer service. This employee (and I am very sorry that I did not get his name) extended himself and job expectations (even though the buffet area was officially closed and he didn't HAVE to help me at all). My husband and I come to this hotel, intermittently, as a last minute get away and I have yet to have a bad experience... Thanks.
