"Great location in charming town"
Hotel public areas are lovely, plus a beautiful outdoor courtyard with water fountain. Room was small but more than adequate. Having spend over 40 days in hotels in the last 6 months amenities are important to us. There were two nice padded chairs, bathroom very tiny but lots of she es and hooks , make uommirror, and very nice range of toiletries including mouth wash and a little kit with nail file and cotton balls and q tips. It's the little things that count. Also robes in room altho we never use them. No coffee maker but free coffee in the lobby. Restaurant bar and outdoor dinning all attached to hotel.

"Just passing through town."
What a beautiful old house. I made a reservation through Expedia the morning before getting there and apparently no one had checked to realize I was coming, but we got that worked out and it was a delightful stay. Huge comfortable room, large (really large) bathroom. I was the only person staying so had the house to myself. I almost always stay in historic homes and inns if available, and I know that some people write reviews about them criticizing certain aspects. It's an old house, of course it takes a long time for the water to get hot and figuring out how the shower curtain fits around a freestanding tub is a challenge, but Holiday Inn Express doesn't have multiple rooms of beautiful antiques, hardwood floors, or any sense of history or continuity, a breakfast made for you or pleasant conversation from people working there. If you want a standard box, Holiday Inn it is (or any other - they are all about the same, that is the point).

Knapps Narrows Marina & Inn

"A small hotel that is also a working marina."
This was a great spot for our 55 anniversary trip. We wanted to return to Tilghman Island after a twenty year absence. Little did we know that our anniversary came a week or two before the seasonal opening of lots of tourist accomodations. So we found that the four nearby restaurants were not open for dinner, a bit of a bummer, but the Chesapeake Lights boat tours were operating so we enjoyed that. The Knapps's Narrows In provided a good continental breakfast each day, we found nearby dinner one night at the Harrison House -- a legendary seafood resort. (Great oyster stew!) The next day we visited St. Michael's and the Mariner's museum. One could spend two days going through all the great exhibits there. The two days we were there we ran into Captain Wade Murphy (amazing story), saw several stored sea going boats put back in the water, chatted with many locals, and bought sandwich lunches at the Tilghman Island Country store. All well worth a visit.

Cambridge is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Cambridge, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Cambridge hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
