"Good location for walking around city and water. "
The staff never fixed the leak in faucet in bathroom from day 1. The shower door sounded like it was going to break every time you opened or closed it.
Other than those few issues the room was clean and comfortable temperature. Breakfast was good with many choices to eat each morning.

The hotel is well situated, close to garibaldi station (the main gateway to Pompeii/Sorrento as well as home to a shuttle to the airport) and benefits from excellent views. The rooms are clean, the memory foam mattresses clean and the bathrooms are well equipped. Our room had floor to ceiling wood panelling over the balcony doors, cutting out all light and noise and allowing for a peaceful nights sleep. Outside the room the hotel is nicely decorated and the restaurant/bar on the 6th floor is the biggest asset, with breathtaking views across the city as you enjoy your food. We didn't have dinner as the menu was rather expensive however breakfast was amazing with an abundance of choice. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, allowing us an extra hour in our room on checkout so we could do an excursion and they even left a gift on the bed on my girlfriends birthday. Overall the hotel is a brilliant base for exploring Naples.

I would stay here again. Excellent service and the hotel is really large, considering the smaller buildings in Naples.
Don't use the hotel parking, too expensive. you can park on the side streets for free. Unless you have a nice car (BMW or similar). I had a little Renault TwinGo, and it did't make sense. Don't leave anything in the car, when parking on the streets.

"Beautiful location looking over the Bay of Naples"
Second time at the hotel after a lovely stay with our son last year. This year we were joined by my brother and his family and the experience did not disappoint. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the breathtaking views from the hotel, the excellent food (dining outside on the terrace a must) and the attentive/polite staff who ensured our stay was memorable.
The courtesy coach provided by the hotel was needed due to the location of the hotel but it only took 7-8 mins down to Sorrento town and the coach ran promptly on the hour for journeys down and returns to the hotel.
Despite a second visit in two years we all look forward to returning before too long.

Overall it was a very nice experience staying at La Medusa. It is a bit secluded and without a car it would be very difficult. Hotel staff was pleasant and helpful.
We had room 309, which was VERY small, so that part disappointed us a bit. Also, there was not even one bottle of water in the room, so if we didn't have any with us it would be terrible. No tea/coffeee making facilities in the room either.
No ironing facilities in the room, however few of my clothes were ironed for me upon request.
The best was breakfast on the upper terrace, beautiful views and service. Breakfast and reception staff was great. I am gluten free so there was some bread provided for me. I also have to avoid dairy, however it is impossible during holidays in Italy :)
The hotel grounds/garden is beautiful. Relaxation area and swimming pool was great. There is a gym with the relaxing view to the garden, however there were only cardio machines, no other weight training equipment.
We had a dinner in the restaurant late evening on our arrival night. We were disappointed with the service then. Staff was busy talking and doing other things, they did not attend to our table, no water was poured, no candle was lit up when it was out. We also had to wait very long for our bill.
